Best B-Sides 59

Which group has the best B-Sides and why?
For me it's Red Velvet simply because they do R&B and it's done so well.

SNSD, because im biased
Well SNSD has poppy pop songs and hearbreaking ballads as their bside. SNSD has Taeyeon, one of my favorite voices in the world. Their voices blend together seamlessy. Their harmonizing is top of the top.
They have Paper plane, One more time, Complete, Trick, Etude, Chocolate love...
RV b sides are amongst the best in all Kpop imo
SNSD for me., mostly because I like going back to their discography and because it is one of my favorite in kpop. And as my username implied, I'm SNSD biased.
My interest for Red Velvet has been thinning for years now to almost nonexistent levels.
And I don't care about aespa enough to even check their title tracks.

Snsd has the best ballads of them all...
Complete
Time Machine
All My Love Is For You
Mood Lamp
Etc
Same here!
RV of course, but I would probably vote f(x) if it was an option. The whole Red Light album is a NO SKIP.
Fx never had a chance to show us much. Red Light is a masterpiece

I feel like Snsd has it all. You can listen to their discography and not miss anything.
But, RV does more and better R&B and I'm a sucker for R&B.
Aespa's B-Sides are ok most of the time with a few bangers here and there. I think their experimental genre is a bit too much for me sometimes.
My love for Red Velvet started with liking their album songs.
To be honest neither, I am not really the biggest fan of their bsides.
I haven't listened to all of SNSD's b-sides, but I do like quite a few.
Between Red Velvet and aespa, I could say either. There are a larger number of Red Velvet songs I enjoy, but percentage-wise probably favors aespa.
I don't care about your bad opinions, and you should know you're not going to change mine.
Hating on the best discography in K-Pop history automatically disqualifies you from having any valuable input in this conversation.
I should smack you with the Pink Bible for even thinking you could quote me with this sacrilegious nonsense.
Red Velvet for me. Their b-sides are just too iconic!

I doubt many agree with you that the have the best discography.
red velvet has the best b-sides in all of kpop
f(x) has the best 2nd gen discography and by a mile
RV and it's not even close
My love for Red Velvet started with liking their album songs.
I fell for their ballads first especially Automatic and then the Perfect Velvet album dropped and then I was a Reveluv.
My God, Red Velvet won this so easily
f(x) has the best 2nd gen discography and by a mile
Hell no. How singles do they have? 11 if my information is correct. How many of them are acctually good? Three.
Hot Summer, Electric Shock and Nu ABO. Okay, let add one more, let's say they have four good singles even if I can't rember a fourth good one.
T-ara has around 20 I think only counting korean ones, half of them is all better or at least as good as the best f(x) singles. T-ara is miles ahead of f(x). Add to that Girl's Generation, 2NE1, SISTAR that I would say have better and I not even brought up KARA and Wondergirls yet.

well agree to disagree. I find 2nd gen in general trash and poorly aged, only f(x)'s music has actually survived the test of time and manages to still sound fresh. in my opinion, that is.
I voted Red Velvet, after analising it for a bit.
SNSD is my ultimate favourite group together with Twice, but I've always had a slight preference towards their Korean title tracks, rather than their bsides. Some of their bsides are among my favourite songs of all time, but it's mostly from their japanese albums and Forever 1. For their earlier albums, I do prefer title tracks, with some exceptions.
Then aespa - I do love a lot of their bsides, but not all, like with SNSD. But they're still growing as a group and if their future music will be just as good, I'll be super happy. (and this year they gave me Flowers which is easily in my top 10 bsides of all time )
But for Red Velvet, their bsides have been my favourite right from the first mini and I think they have aged really well. They also have a lot of variety, which I love. Out of all three groups, I follow them the least (I'm a fan, but don't follow their sm or news super closely), but their music is always impeccable, so I check it every comeback.
If we included solo work of the members, I'd have to change my vote to SNSD purely because of Taeyeon, but considering the group only, it's RV.

Fx wasn't as promoted as the rest of the ggs.

Same. There are bops here and there. But also trash songs, and songs that ruin cohesiveness.

And most importantly most of their bsides are just... there. I prefer their title tracks, I love almost all of them.

Well, that maybe the case, but don't really have any thing to do with if their discography is the best or not but effect their overall success. I don't like speaking bad about a group with a member that you know what, but I feel f(x) is one of the more overrated groups compared to the attention the group got. Sure I kind of like their style and some of their songs are good, but they are not that speciall compared to other 2nd generation groups. They mabye would have been if they as say was promoted a bit more and was not in the shadow of Girls' Generation, at the same time they probably where popular just because they where from SME.
