Hmm, it's hard to say. I voted no simply because I think their current success is so individual and I don't know how that will translate to a group comeback.
Now, this isn't to say that I think they will flop or anything like that! I think it'll do really well! Perhaps my nostalgia is getting in the way but it's hard for me to imagine them doing as well as they did with DDDD, for example.

I agree it's hard to judge, but I guess we are on difference sides of the fence regarding this. I would never suggest the girls will not do extremely well individually, but I do think what we are seeing right now is more a reflection of Blackpinks success.
I cant recall who but someone on here made a good analogy about it being like attributing Beyonce's success to Destiny's Child, which is a good point. And I do think that would make sense a few years down the line, but I don't think that's the case right now.

It seems to stem from K-pop fans and fans of the group. If that's really the case, I suspect the comeback to be about as big as any Blackpink comeback.
I'm actually not too sold on Blackpink's solo efforts giving them a huge boost at the moment. Their streams are high, but they've always been able to get big streaming numbers, so it's not something I place too much emphasis on when thinking about "will their next group back be bigger than ever."

I mention already that smth that give u more fans is touring and bp aren't doing that, their numbers are below what bp as a group do, they have high debuts but lack consistency which show it's just remaining blinks effort
It could be their biggest in terms of Spotify debut number but the longevity will always depends on the song they'll release.

Honestly if their solos keep their distinct identity and hype, i would eagerly wait for their Ot4 comeback with typical BP visuals/sound too. Its like getting best of both worlds.
BP group comebacks are an event, always have been with current lack of OT4 content i am sure everyone will eat it up.

A lot of Blinks started stanning as kids with little to no money to spend much money on albums, concert tickets, merch, etc. Now that they're older, they probably have more of the means to.
So in 2025, we'll be seeing a bit of a spike for sure. A lot of these fans who grew up will be feeling nostalgic, so they'll be even more rigorous. Kinda like how the Blackjacks are doing with 2NE1's reunion tour.
I'm personally not really into BP's solos that have come out this year, but I think it's indirectly the members' way of building up hype and promoting for their eventual group comeback.
It's kinda like how BTS members dropped successful solo projects as they prepared for military enlistment and as they're in service. They're building up for their big reunion and presumably their comeback in 2025.
I'm mostly just clowning but I can't say I wasn't a bit disappointed with the preview. I don't wanna go too hard on the lyrics since I know the girls were involved, but that's really where my issue is. And it's mostly disappointment compounding over years of YG cringe lyrics lol. Plus, I know how people will react and will not be nearly as playful as I am in the way they critique them, which I hate to see.
But I can separate my enjoyment of the song with my objective critique of the lyrics and I actually think I'll be listening to it quite often.
