They got compared alot and the skill difference really hurt them. Whilst she is now disliked by korean feminists, the initial comparison would have been 'newjeans made by a woman for women vs LSF made by men for women but really being for men' and at that point, the difference in treatment by Hybe despite the income (including Bang ignoring newjeans, not remembering their faces compared to taking pics with LSF and his personal messages to MHJ) made things worse. Horrible track selection. International fans like the Kpop sound. Kpop differentiated itself by being different from Western pop, yet LSRFM kept moving towards the more generic western pop sound.
