Do you have a K-Pop circle or is this a hobby you enjoy solo?

This is my dirty little secret

I have a total of 3 friends who enjoys it.

I have friends who like kpop indeed but I enjoy it solo for the most part.

Like I don’t talk about every single kpop news like i do here with my friends it’s more like EXO RELEASED NEW MUSIC WOW ITS GOOD and we also go to cons together if there’s one we want to go.

There are so many kpop fans who just consume music and this is such a radical notion for me

Like you don’t know how much EXO’s photo book version sold on hanteo or how high they charted on melon? Bffr

No one I know here listens to kpop ( but 99% knows BTS, hehe)

I grew up in a kpop family fans so...

My friends dont care about Kpop like i do, they like some songs and that's it. I used to talk about kpop songs with my cousin and her friends, but they are a bunch of success stans and talking with them about kpop is very annoying. Now the rest of time as kpop stan i have left i will pass alone.

Hum I live in the middle of nowhere so no. When I lived in Brasília, I met a couple of kpop stans but we all liked different groups so it was awkward af

I have a brother who likes kpop

and he likes Mamamoo apparently and even went to one of their concerts

We have nine people in our department who listen to K-pop, and some of us go to concerts together. When we see each other, it is pretty fun chatting about the boy groups (BTS) or girl groups (TWICE, Blackpink, and multi-stans) we like. One thing we don't do, unlike some users on this forum, is criticize other groups even when their music doesn't meet our tastes. K-pop is just a hobby and is not the most important thing in our lives.

I have a couple of friends (shocking)

But most are inactive

My coworkers think Tzuyu is cute, but they're not into k-pop yet

I know two people that love K-dramas though

I have a couple school friends and my siblings like kpop (older gen fans since they're '99, got me into SHINee and EXO)

I don't have a circle.

I do have friends who like this or that Kpop group, mostly ARMY, but some Once, Stay, one Blink and general Kpop fans as well. Don't know any 4th gen fans apart from the Stay.

We don't meet as a group though and some of these people don't even know each other.

I also converted some to become ARMY and two guys I made a Once

Same lol nobody in my real life knows about it and i would like to keep it this way. It would be really embarassing if my irl friends find out about how much time i spend acting like a dumbass on some kpop forum 😂

My best friend and cousin is a K-Pop stan and we stan the same groups (we got together into K-Pop). But these days I don't talk that much to her (mental health + we're now long distance bffs sooooo)

Mostly just enjoy it solo.

I have one friend who likes Blackpink and occasionally listen to some other songs, but that's it.

Irl I only really talk about + listen to it often with my bf who isn't into it himself really. He just like some of the songs I put on sometimes and has gifted me album/merch since he knows I love Stray Kids.

I mostly talk about this hobby on discord (and on here).
