The big 3 where greedy but incompetent and that's the reason they couldn't dominate the industry like hybe, which is super greedy but competent, is doing. With newjeans they at least waited for the debut, and then unloaded all their payola magic with spotify playlisting and making them sign deals with big fashion brands weeks after debut but this is beyond words, this level of greedy is insane, they are not even pretending anymore allowing their groups to have some privileges but working their way to the top step by step, they can't even wait and go nuts given undebuted idols things they have not earned or deserve by achieving something, just like Dreamer95 said last year about hybe paying the way of their idols into the kohaku uta gassen, they will suck dry the kpop industry until there is nothing left but themselves, we somehow need to save kpop from their hands guys.
And yes I know what the term payola originally means but since people started using as a umbrella term to describe when a company is using money to give advantage to their artists lets use it that way here.
