How many hours of sleep do you think top idol groups get?

2 - 3 when promoting and more than 4 when free.

Depends on the time of the year doesn’t it. In 2016 I know EXO got like zero sleep some days.

Like they had a concert in the US, came back to Korea just for the award show and went back immediately to finish their US shows

I doubt Stray Kids members sleep. I have a theory they are probably not even human.

A queastion you can't answer because it's depening on the occation. Generally I think they sleep more than some of the horror stories fans try to drag up. Just because they gets extremly little sleep sometimes don't been that the case all the time every day.

Noboy would be able to stand to sleep only 4-5 hour more than a few days straight and it would clearly hurt the perfomance of the group too much. I would guess it's at least 5-6 hours/day at least if you take an average for a year.

Not just less sleep, but going into different environment and having a bunch of people swarm you too. I think Wonyoung had some crazy schedule where she had to visit 3 countries within 4-5 days? I felt like barfing hearing it. Must of been so exhausting. Then they gotta put up a smile for everyone.

But hey, I can't believe idols ignored my greetings!! They are so unfriendly right?

That also mean you did a big mistake that was not good for you. And just becaues some people claim they can do it, don't mean that the average person can do it. No kpop group would be able to go on for more than a year with an average sleep below 5-6 hours/day at least. Sure they maybe have crazy says than can only sleep a few hours, but they for sure will have some day of too sleep to catch up.

or at least I heard of a former one (from Japan) that he slept only 4 hours every day since he sometimes never got home before 1am and was often suposed to wake up around 6am or even earlier depending on his day (also heard similiar stuff from other people who are either also idols in Japan or Korea or had been trainees)

On their days off/down time I think they prob over sleep. Maybe 9 ISH hours.

During promo as little as 2-4 would be my bet.

sure, but the point is 4-5 hours is something that maybe happens sometimes and that is the story we hear and read about, but it's nothing that will happen for many weeks or month in row.

True for a group like blackpink that aren’t doing anything most days. But not true for groups that comeback 2-3 times a year and also tour.

During comeback season alone we know music shows are filmed at the crack of dawn.

I remember during Kang Daniel peak days, he was in variety show It's Dangerous Beyond the Blankets and after busy day, instead of sleeping he read webtoons till like... 6 am. I totally understand this. No matter how tired I am, at the end of the day, I need to unwind by myself even if it means sacrificing my sleep.
