U never listened to other sse groups? I think its been that way since sistar and every group of theirs have very strong vocalists, like hyolyn, kihyun, seola, liz, etc. One thing that also impress me is that the instrumental is awesome, there's a lot of classical instruments used in the compositions, they don't rely too much on electronic equipments - for example alone, janus and save me save you you can clearly hear piano in the instrumental and i love that

Concept wise i don't, i find them way too generic and doesn't seem like it had a lot of research

The only time they really worked hard concept wise was for WJSN magical girl era

I actually find their concepts carefully crafted because they created a very consistent image for their groups thanks to the concepts: sistar with summer/sultry, monsta x with manly and cool, wjsn with magical and soft, and ive with versatile and luxurious vibe.

Only boyfriend and cravity weren't as consistent, but boyfriend's fairytale trilogy was one of the coolest and most unique concepts in kpop, and they were one of the few groups if not only that actually released a song that reminds of halloween with a halloween concept, which I respect a lot (most kpop groups do halloween concept WITHOUT a song that sound halloween-ish, and i hate that):
