Do you think your favorite group is well promoted?

Honestly, in kpop it seems NOBODY thinks their favourite group is well promoted.

I think depends of their phase, from 2012 to 2014 they were "well promoted but no really", too many things went wrong which kinda messed up their plans I guess

2015 and 2017 they were well promoted, just... overworked I guess

From 2018 onwards their promotions just sucked hard time lol

Yes! XG is serving us good but I do wish we had more variety-esque content but the music is good and their releases/content have been paced apart well since I started following(Mascara)z Plus the recent con and festival perfs. I am living the dream!

I think 65 percent of complaints by fans on TW about their faves' labels not promoting well is just copium for their faves flopping.

Unless you're coming from Big 4, your label probably has literal pennies to promote their faves. Their faves just gonna have to do it on their own, either with their charms or with a lucky break.

Among my faves, i see it the most with poor Woollim and Eunbi. So many Rubis hating on poor Woollim, even though Eunbi i think loves her CEO. Yet she is realistic enough to know that there is no money in Woolim, that she can't expect her label to spend millions to promote her. Woolim has no profitable act except her and even her profitability just took a hit with her big album sales drops.

Which means it is all on her to promote herself, which she has done spectacularly so far after her Waterbomb break. She's worked her ass off to go on every variety under the sun, including big YT channels and traditional programs like Amazing and Knowing. She got herself another potential mini breakthrough gig tomorrow with Ive in NYC. She will also be performing in TFMA awards.

XG is very interesting. Its like Mamamoo v2 but with very strong rappers.

Will see if a "non-visual" group can really take off or not now.

imo yes globally. They got zero chance in Korea since they are all japanese. They seem fairly popular in Japan.

they used to be given a lot of push but lately the company almost acts like they don't exist
