Their old music is not running away and there are countless girl groups who are doing cute concepts for you to venture into. Forcing yourself to still like a group is not healthy if you haven't liked a song of theirs in years or have to keep publically announcing and nitpicking at every song they put out. She didn’t even shade the song. She said she didn’t like doing that one part of the Choreo because you had to make all these cutesy faces. You are overreacting

I agree and disagree with minion.

I disagree on the blame on Jihyo. I think she has every right to dislike a song or dance. I don't think its fair to be mad at her over a personal preference and opinion. Plus shes still performed it whenever her professional responsibilities call for it, she still performs all the old tracks during concerts.

I disagree on expecting her solo to be Twice sound. I've always viewed solo, especially while still active in group to be special projects, one which you show off yourself. And alot of time, it may not sound anything like the group it comes from. Now I personally don't prefer the style of the release but I respect it and think it fits Jihyo perfect,it sounds incredible for the genre it represents.

But I do agree and get the frustration when a group strays from the sound that got them into the group. Imagine if Blackpink starts sounding like Lovelyz. Imagine if New Jeans start sounding like Everglow. Imagine they did that for not just one release, but multiple releases. I get the frustration fans can feel. Many Onces still prefer the brighter stuff, most just aren't as vocal about it as Dreamer. The last Korean released I love was Talk That Talk.

Being an idol is a job at the end of the end which means sometimes you do things you're not a fan of. Actors may play roles they don't like, djs may play sounds they hate. I do feel as a group, groups in a sense do have some responsibility to their fans.

I would like JYP to toss us a bone here and there. Fortunately Twice comes back often which means if this release I don't like, it won't be long for another that I might like. But now as releases slow down, I do feel that itch more and more and would probably be pretty disappointed if the next 1 or 2 releases was not bright concept.
