Unless Spicy turns out to be a national hit (30 weeks in top 10, #1 for several weeks, peak ULs over close to 500k), it remains to be seen whether Aespa can claim superiority over Idle. Idle has a national hit and another PAK racker in Nude, plus another top 4 hit in QC. And both Ive and NJ can claim 3 national hits, with Ive in the running for 4 depending on longevity of Kitsch.

Exactly, that's why i objected to OP putting Aespa 3rd by themselves over Idle. Right now, they are tied.

At this very moment i'd say that's correct. For ive and njns they hold the top 2 spots but the 3rd place it's interchangeable between aespa, lsf and gidle imo.

I actually think sales will give aespa an edge over GIDLE ... they're doing 2 times the numbers + the tour power aespa is having.

since how they are going globally is really all that counts.

Definitely BP and Twice, the #1 and #2 girl groups in the world, don't care too much about promoting in Korea, and they actually lose money when they do. Twice peaked at 94 on Melon last release, but they are laughing all the way to the bank. I have been trying for the last 6 months to get a Twice fan to say that they don't give af about Korea, but no success yet, even though we know its true.

Gidle either goes up to 2 or is at 3 depending on how they go in the next 2 weeks.

One surprise is one particular group's growth has definitely slowed this comeback when compared to 3 other groups that also released recently, so next release they may go down a peg.

IVE - get not only 1 but 2 PAK songs with 1 album, awesome PAK/#1 streak with I AM

Aespa - sales increased + K charting back to their prime. Spciy their best ULs thus far

Lesserafim - sales grow tremendously, charting similar to Antifragile

GIDLE - sales also grow tremendously. Charting TBC but so far top5

You're right, i forgot that Savage went #1 as well.

Still should give QC some time to see if it can blow up. Spicy hasnt gotten above Unforgiven peak ULs yet, thought it's only a matter of time i think. QC could get the same second week bump.

How are gidle’s b sides doing? I don’t think Gidle is even in competition to be on Aespa’s level objectively. Both in physicals and digitals Aespa is higher.

Yeah… The rankings will most probably change again once BM and SMNGG debut especially BM… Kinda pointless to rank them now IMO but for fun, why not lol.
