Yes, they had hit after hit, an it girl (Jiyeon) and good fandom, their fandom was particular big in China (IDK about Korea, but China supported them even after the scandal)

Honestly, it's just weird that just a gossip rumor took them down. It's almost like public were waiting to drop them. I wouldn't associate their downfall only to the bullying rumor.

Nah, the snake threw herself under the bus. She kept bringing up the scandal just to keep her own name in the media, and the last time she tried it, it backfired on her in epic fashion, with former MBK employees all coming out to air her dirty laundry and basically vindicating T-ara. It wasn't much, but there's a reason why they were able to win a music show that year and she lost her drama gig.
