Itzy, Dreamcatcher and Everglow would satisfy me

dream concert used to be an all star concert.. just look at the 2nd gens lineup back then.. SNSD, KARA, SISTAR, TVXQ, INFINITE.. and even the 3rd gen lineup like EXO, GFRIEND, MAMAMOO, RV... and now its really turning into some random kpop concert. the legacy for dream concert is long gone.. even last year lineup is better (IVE, NCT DREAM, OMG, RV)

Its not just Dream concert. Kcon used to be an all star lineup too but its former glory is now long gone. Even award and year end shows suffer from the same issue.

Now big groups, which are kpop flagship representatives, would rather tour than gather for joint kpop events.

I dont know why things have turned out this way but in a way it has resulted in kpop losing its sense of community imo.

Lol, kpoopies love to brag all the time about the money their faves make, but then they get mad when the most popular groups choose to make more money with a solo concert instead of participate in this type of events. What a bunch of idiots.

Itzy, Everglow, and Nmixx are stars as well. Not being as popular to the general public does not mean that the music is terrible.

Kpops in a different place these days

It's becoming increasingly internationally popular and the BIG groups are all busy going on long awaited world tours, which is obviously tying them up.

There's so, so, so much more money being made in Album sales as well.

Theres not as much "need" to be in these multigroup festivals anymore when a group can get big profits in album sales or do a world tour and hold all the focus on yourself.

I'm actually a bit surprised that a group as "big" as Itzy is even on the list, but I figure they probably have some time on hand as they just finished their world tour and don't have a comeback on the radar just yet.

Dream Concert really isn't what it use to be like in 2nd gen. Korean market isn't that important, and even then you don't need DC to get the exposure if you're in a big company.

Yes it's clown world 🤡 out there. These concerts are a nice to have but not required. Most solos and groups especially popular and big groups make the most money touring and having a packed comeback so it makes sense they'd likely not participate in these events. Their agencies wholeheartedly agree with them because that means more profit,$$$$$$$$$$

If they're so disinterested, they can do this abroad. I bet there would be more people showing up just wanting to enjoy some Kpop
