Produce/survival shows have great performing fandoms usually so it should serve them good. I hope it's not a one time thing and we're going towards an era when bgs can debut and not look ridiculous or even better, grow steadily in digital charts

but some of them did relatively well compared to others

hui is developed artist with 10 years experience of course he would slay

sung hanbin, seok matthew, jay, park hanbin, and zhanghao are right there? i mean i think most of the remaining contestants are talented (with a few exceptions) but these ones i just mentioned are pretty great

Thry are. The current top 18 is surprisingly very strong. As someone who watched both Produce season 2 and Produce X101, I'm pleased with the current options. Of course not everything is perfect and we have Gyuvin and Jiwoong who doesn't know how to sing, but even if both make the top 9 (likely) still 7/9 which is at least on pair with most of kpop groups anyway

They're doing great. This season was more loved by GP, so I expect the final group to chart better (well, the songs are another factor)

And I don't think we have a single dozen in top18 (it's not out yet, but the expected one). Gunwook, Jay, Hui, Keita, Zhanghao, Sung Hanbin and Park Hanbin are more talented than most 4th gen male idols lol Even the ones that get hate for lack os talent would be just a standard member in bgs.
