Krystal - she was a bit under Yoona's shadow. Had potential to get bigger tho
Irene - she came close but things happened. There a short period of time she could be considered "it girl" but it was fleeting
Karina - she's still up and coming

Who even is Yoona? I'm exaggerating here obviously, i know who she is, but she's nowhere to be found, Taeyeon is the true It Girl of SNSD, still dominating the charts not appearing in dramas nobody has heard of.
Irene existed for a few years. Also Karina has the potential to become the greatest It Girl of SM and challenge Wonyoung for the current It Girl crown. She's the ONLY one that can challenge Wonyoung right now.

Yoona has starred in 2 smash hit blockbuster movies Exit and confidential assignment, Miracle a movie that got her best actresses noms/wins, and recently Big Mouth which was very popular and critically acclaimed drama and also got her more acting awards. She's one of if not the most in demand idol actor in the biz (with her rivals being other SNSD members which is pretty badass). Then there's her usual CFs, modelling etc success that she still has.
Yoona along with Taeyeon is certainly still it girl status all these years later and more than a match for current gen idols.

Taeyeon ( people seems to underestimate her because she doesn't appear at every fashion show when she's getting cf after cf, hits after hits in korea )
and karina and Winter can easily get cf after cf if SM decide to promote them in solo
actually SM is the only agency who was always very consistent in having it girl in their groups

Yoona has way more endorsements in Korea, Asia and her miumiu global deal. Taeyeon has like how many?
Karina will get there but, it'll be hard to surpass Yoona. She's been killing it since before her debut with Snsd.

Irene cannot be It Girl is she was shadowed by Jennie, Nayeon, Sana, Lisa, Hwasa, Somi.
3rd gen was too strong, she didn’t stand a chance, excellent center though.
Karina has everything to be THE it girl, but somehow the public didn’t react positively nor negatively, people recognize her talent and visuals but don’t go crazy over her like Yuna or Wonyoung, not even close to the amount of hype those 2 get.
I wonder why though, I like her a lot, but I just can’t go an step further to Stan her, seems like nobody cares, she lacks haters and that’s a horrible sign
