Yoona and Suzy were popular as idols and bagging more and more CFs and acting roles left and right many years into their careers and have very squeaky clean images. Irene meanwhile didn’t match their cfs but more importantly it’s what’s she’s lost: she lost their acting route, not getting/keeping many endorsements and if she’s part of new project people are just as likely to bring up Irene personality which will draw negative attention.

In terms of CFs she gets... yeah, she's pretty comparable. I was purely speaking on CFs and Somi gets them pretty easily.

No she's not as kind as Yoona/Suzy.

Irene was popular and had CFs and endorsements, but the difference was that Suzy and Yoona also have acting careers which allowed their names to be known outside of the Kpop bubble into the general public. They also have squeaky clean images that lasted for more than 10-15 years, compared to Irene who now anytime someone brings up her name, all they're gonna think about is her attitude and bullying issues, regardless of what her fans claim.

Irene isn‘t really comparable to Suzy/Yoona. Not because she‘s prettier/uglier than them, but she totally gives off a different vibe and therefore targets a different audience.

Yoona and Suzy both have approachable, innocent visuals and give off girl next door vibes.

Irene seems more mystierous and unapproachable. Therefore she should better be compared to Krystal.

There were articles about Yoona's and Suzy's huge number of cfs especially during their prime.

Yoona also got listed on Forbes. I've heard nothing about the other girls.

not in terms of beloved/popular-ness but as someone who was there in Korea through both Suzy and Irene It-girl eras Irene was even more culturally inescapable/famous. She was on literally every commercial break for every channel, her face was in all convenience stores/bars/restaurants etc.

With Yoona, I didn't live in SK yet but she's probably the most famous of all three right now so that says something.
