no one is freaking out with NewJeans recent chart performances ?

I really expected, because they are most trendy girl group on korea now. Congrats to Newjeans

people have been hyping them up tho. there were a lot of threads about them yesterday. the same thing can only be said so many times... and also threads with no activity end up being buried quickly anyway so if you havent seen the threads thats why.

Feel like NJ doesn't have a super loud fanbase outside SK. Def seems like there's still a stigma sometimes on Twitter/here/etc.

My question is, why do you need validation to appreciate their success? Does not having 2 threads about NewJeans every hour take anything away from their success?

it was 100% expected, ditto current charting has very little todo with ditto, but with attention/hype boy/cookie popularity.

gonna take a month to see if it holds up or not

I think there are fewer njs fan on akp.

It was expected. Like other groups, NJ didn't go viral for a particular song or reason. They went big multiple times for different songs and reasons. So i can see ditto doing better than other follow up songs.
