Do you think groups from the same company sound similar?

Most definitely.
You listen to girls, step back and one by superm and you’ll 100% be able to tell that they’re SM songs.
And it’s very easy to point out a teddy song and he’s the only one who makes music for YG GGS Kek. So ofc works there too.
JYP groups actually don’t have a cohesive sound so it’s harder there I think.
It’s easy to tell a HYBE/BH BG as well. BTS/TXT/EN- have same type of vocal processing the breathy type of stylistic singing etc.

No. A perfect example of this is
SF9 vs P1Harmony - SF9 is more ballady, amazing vocals, all arounders...while p1harmony seems more hip hopish in a majority of their songs. I cannot sit here and say I can picture SF9 singing that or I can picture P1Harmony singing that I don't see it.
Up10tion vs MCND - Up10tion is god to me...they have the whole package, their music is everything .... MCND sounds young hip hoppy and complete opposite of Up10tion, as with sf9 and p1harmony i cannot picture up10tion singing the songs mcnd sings and vice versa. Up10tion is more of a mature concept.
VeriVery vs VIXX - VeriVery is AMAZING like ever since the face series, the raps, the beats, the choreography but no one can top VIXX the king of Concepts...I would absolutely LOVE VIXX x VeriVery collab one day. Jellyfish has great artists they do well, and verivery has their own colors and sound. I think verivery has the capacity to cover vixx in their own way, they should do it one day. oh wait, they did, they covered shanri-la and nailed it.

BTOB vs Pentagon - King of Ballads vs Pentagon I don't even know how to describe pentagon except underrated bops. None of their music reminds me of BTOB and vice versa.

If you listen to SNSD, f(x) and Red Velvet you can notice some similarities in their singing style. But aespa broke out of the mold.
Other companies, not as much. Maybe HYBE with their notorious use of vocal processing.
girls is literally the most SM sounding song out there 😭😭 SM’s sound has changed since 2nd gen. You should be comparing Aespa to NCT Superm GOT who had more recent debuts and 100% it sounds like that.

Even outside of sound... you can definitely hear similarities in the way their songs are built too. Even when it's not a traditional song structure, the way things like harmonies are used are noticeable across the board for every group.

Yes I do spot vocal similarities between ggroups from the same company from example Exo vocal line sounds similar to Suju vocal line same thing for Nct to me they're a combo between Suju and exo vocal line.
Luna from f(x) sounds similar to Boa, a lot for Red velvet members sounds similar to Ses that's why each time they cover their songs they nail them .
Stray kids's Bang chan sounds similar to Got7's Youngjae and Jb.
Ikon's June sounds similar to BigBang 's Daesong and their ex members
I think the reason the groups form the same company sounds similar goes to the fact mostly because some of them trained together hence they have the same vocal coach

Definitely.
In SM, vocals are the priority. SM leans heavily into a r&b inflected sound with big bold vocals. Song structures typically have a build to have a show off vocal moment, usually around the bridge. And a melodic bridge will land in any type of S&M song, no matter how “dissonant” the instrumental might be.
In YG, the instrumental is the priority. If it’s a hot beat that gets you moving, that makes you drop it, it’s probably a YG song. This sound is built on being big and impactful, usually with a heavy and prominent synth. And let’s face it, a Teddy song sounds like a Teddy song. There’s usually an attitude in the style, as well. Vocals play a role and are used for impact but not the focus.
Hybe leans heavily into a cool, less emotional vocal style that is more about sameness. There is the signature vocal processing that adds to this, as well as a higher, breathier style of singing. Outside of BTS or pre-existing groups like Seventeen, new Hybe groups have a similarity in their voices so it’s not easy to pick out one specific voice. (I assume this is intentional to make a more cohesive group experience. I can pick out a Kihyun in Monsta X or a Lia in Itzy, but can’t pick out and seperate most of the Hybe vocalists. I see that now in the new ggs too.) Vocals aren’t the emphasis here, nor is the instrumental like YG but I think an overall view of the song with an emphasis on pop styles.
JYP doesn’t have a clear style IMO other than the process of elimination: this doesn’t sound like a SM song or a Hybe song or a Teddy song, this must be JYP. I think the only similarity I could say here is that JYP is not as focused on vocals either, but more on the overall song, like Hybe. Generally speaking, there are not big vocal show belters here but then NMIXX is, so I guess that gets back to the point that JYP can be anything.
Tl, dr:
SM: big vocals
YG: big beats
Hybe: icy pop
JYP: whatever they feel like that day
I think some of the smaller labels have less of a label sound and more of a “trying to sound like their most successful group” sound. I see this with Purple Kiss (a not like other gg sound like Mamamoo) at RBW and Cravity (a younger Monsta X) at Starship.
