What is your opinion on colored contacts in kpop?

i have yet to see an idol who looks better with colored contacts wish they stopped trying to prove me wrong

Colored contacts in general are meeeh

I get if they are wearing them for teaser pictures and they do look good sometimes, but don't see the point in wearing them all the time

I don’t have a problem with them. They can create a striking look sometimes.

I liked this look of Onew from Odd era but ya girl is biased tho so like… yeah

It's almost always a terrible look. Someone should ask the wearers why they want to be White so badly.

i don't like colored contacts in general, it makes anyone look gross

I have heard that contacts are not good for your eyes.

They look good sometimes but ummm sometimes they can also make the idol wearing it look bad or scary.

I enjoy contact lenses myself, but I have lighter colored eyes and things blend nicely. In people with dark eyes such as most(all?) kpop idols, it looks weird unless they stick to darker shades.

No I don't like ot at all except for light brown color maybe. In kpop they use so excessive lighting which makes colored eye contacts top bright and most look very pale.

I agree with the right colors suit the right idols. And there are some occassions where the colored contacts looks completely unnatural, kind of what you showed in the OP.

Also, they look better on music videos and teasers. Probably for editing and lighting.

But colored contacts in casual photos and selfies and on stage, they look a lot less natural

(I saw that same second part in a video on YouTube of KPOP trends that have to stop and I almost completely agree with it)

No I don't like them. I like it natural, it looks sooo artificial and creepy sometimes

I don't have a problem with them playing around with contacts. I only have a problem when the quality of the lenses look like recycled car wrap.

Not a fan of it but not against it either, cosmetically, it's technically in the same category as hair dying.

Imo, it's a bit silly seeing a Korean person with blue contacts. They don't have blue eyes.

Sometimes I like it if the right color is used, but in generally I don't like it.

but then when the contac are not in the right positions and they look cross eyed...nooooo. Sometimes it goes very wrong
