Ive seen so many armies say BTS has a huge Ton of streams last year despite not releasing an album and at the same time armies are claiming BTS had the best selling kpop album of the year so I'm really confused did BTS reelase an album or not 
Singles aren't albums. But K-pop invented the "single album" that costs the same as a full album. So it's kind of a grey area.

You should take it up with Gaon and Hanteo since they officially rank Butter as the best selling album.
P.S. We will call Butter singles album merch henceforth just so you can keep your Korean Sales Music Award, which btw also used the term full album not album 
P.P.S BTS achieved their massive streams without a full Korean album comeback, just 1 Japanese song, 2 English tracks and a collab so atleast you do not have to wonder why their streams do not match their sales, cause BTS did this in 2021 without a full album and just 4 songs

There's NOTHING wrong or shady about this thread's op, and it was already clarified in page 1 that this account was talking about ordinary full albums AND that discussion should have ended there. But it didn't, and here now we have the same usual suspects throwing shade at NCT's streams and mocking NCT fans for literally doing nothing? What's so wrong and worthy of mockery about congratulating NCT for having the best selling full album of the year?
Going all bitter and not even trying to hide it every time NCT's sales are brought up or celebrated IS miserable behaviour and I'll keep calling it out.

What a mess for an achievement thread. Honestly OP I think you should reword it as best selling full album or smth since for kpop singles do count as an actual album. They are called single album so I guess they count. Even the twitter account stated best selling full album. And some armys need to chill. This is an achievemen thread, OP didn't even mention bts.
