That user thinks they're slick but they've been a bitter leftover loser for years. BTS didn't need to do shit with Fake Love when it charted at #10 on BB Hot 100. Actually, none of their songs post DNA needed to remotely change to chart on BB Hot 100. Something Stray Kids and their "authentic" identity have STILL failed to do with their music. ON charted at #4 before Covid happened and even at that Life Goes On, a Korean Ballad charted #1. It's a case of "omg we're so fucking special sticking with our *eye roll* authentic music" for me that is laughable at best as if BTS STILL aren't the only ones that charted in the top ten with their KOREAN TITLE tracks before the three English songs that still get EVERYONE pressed when all of KPOP has now surpassed them in the number of English singles put out. But none of them are deemed as losing their Koreaness as much as BTS are.
Maybe if all of their ONLY three English songs had flopped, people wouldn't be switching narratives as their favs release their next English single/version to seek the "Western validation" they put on BTS so much.
