- Bp overall had big growth in every metric from album sales, streams, popularity, fandom.
- Nct had huge surge in album sales
- Some 4th gen bgs like boyz, txt and stray kids saw good growth in album sales.
- Stray kids even had big growth on spotify. They r pretty much the biggest bg on spotify after bts right now if i am not wrong.
- Even txt saw international growth as they charted within top 30 on billboard 200.
- Gidle saw good growth in physical sales and k digitals.

Twice sold 2 million albums all together in 2020 if you count oricon sales. Broke their own records and charted on charts that they never charted on before without promotion. They get the last laugh because they’re still taking over the second biggest music market and will perform at the Olympics. They don’t need white people validation to be successful. Japan alone has made them double of the money an average kpop group makes.

Twice didn’t decline. There’s a reason why ICSM is still charting on Global 200 chart and LSG not. They’re doing good for a group that never promoted outside of Asia. Also a lot of people discovered them because Feel Special went viral in the states.
HYLT is charting a lot better than either though.
Twice declined in many areas. Their sales per album in Japan crumbled, their charting in Korea too. Furthermore, their full album EWO, couldn't even sell as much as their mini album earlier in the year.
They increased their streaming internationally but that's about it. -

I was looking for someone to mention BTS.
2020 was a massive massive year for BTS. 3 number 1 in Billboard Hot100, breaking nearly all Melon records with Dynamite, selling 4M plus just for a preorder for Mots7 (and no other group has sold more than 2M still?). And we don’t even have to talk about Spotify, YouTube, iTunes, awards and accolades and records. And their actual album sales.

Considering how incredible 2020 was for BTS they are always left out of threads about this topic. I find it a little bit strange.
