Itzy is f(x) on steroids

Personally I wish Itzy was f(x) on steroids but musically they're very different at least from my perspective.

that image of itzy being expensive really just disappeared after dalla dalla because jyp is cost cutting. let me show you one outfit and then a similar one from a blackpink member for example.

these two dresses have similar shapes and even vibes, sort of going for a rock punk image. look at the materials and compare them.

the one jennie's wearing is made of something that looks like leather, and layers and layers of tulle, that give it a full look and structure. this makes her look like a swan almost, and her shoes are simple high boots that don't class or detract attention from the outfit.

now look at yuna's, while theyve tried to go with the same structure, they've gone with this cheaper looking plasticy thing instead, that gives structure without layers that looks like a bdsm umbrella (if that exists). the belt has polka dots for what reason? the boots have bright red laces for what reason? the top half of the dress is fine until you realize SHES A MINOR. And the tears in the stockings are the same... all i can ask is why?

I understand your point of view but personally I never had this approach with Itzy. For me, they have always had this young and rebellious side, It's very inspired by what the spice girls used to do I think. I think that it fits well with their music and this a little raw and messy side in their sounds.

No offense but f(x) music is not for me. And the groups Itzy reminds me of are Spice Girl or Wonder Girls. They have a youthful and energetic aura. f(x) had a very experimental and their music mostly electro pop genre. But Itzy is different they have rock inspired sound in their title or album songs.

You are missing the point old man , she put it like itzy stylist were looking up to Blackpink for inspiration and making c-grade of the outfit, if she said the outfit was bad, I wouldn’t care, I mean knetz literally were mad over Yuna’s outfit, is the way she worded it .

Precisely I find that it suits perfectly to the concept of the song "Loco", this kind of completely crazy outfits sticks well to the concept. I think you always have to keep in mind that these are stage outfits to perform and that they also respond to a concept. They shouldn't just be seen as fashion outfits.

I understand that we may not like this kind of strong concept, but personally that's what I like about this group. Then I agree that the company can do a lot better on certain points, sometimes the outfits become really dangerous for the idols.

im not comparing blackpink and itzy or jennie or yuna, just the two outfits. maybe i shouldn't have used jennie, but yuna's outfit instantly reminded me of that outfit, especially the silhouette. also since i mainly only stan blackpin, theyre the only ones who's outfits i know...

rebellious really doesn't have to look cheap. look at this wide shot of them. none of their outfits other than yuna's suit their body types and you just heard my rant about that particular outfit. this doesnt look rebellious to me, it looks like they blindly picked out random pieces and paired them together... whats with yeji's skirt? whats with the bandage like pattern of chaeryoung's pant? whats with them styling ryujin constantly to make her look stubby? she has a solid build and she's actually skinny but the way they dress her is just a mess. look at her in a simple outfit and can you really tell me that the styling is better on the stage outfit

This is better, you made it seem like they were trying to copy Blackpink styles so it made me a bit pissed.

I dont think ITZY sounds like f(x), spice girl, hor wonder girls. I think the closest itzy has sound-wise is weki meki but they’re over fusion music nowadays! I think Not Shy was a shift sound-wise and they settled onto 1-2 sound each comeback instead of their sound during early days (e.g. Dalla Dalla fusion of EDM, hiphop, house, etc).

I kinda like their later sounds more! Both Mafia and Loco was a grower. Loco does sound like a Galacktika song but tamer. I get that people seems to be used to their old sound, though.
