wow good for jisoo for debuting in one of, if not the most, competitive kpop companies is south korea with zero talent and not even being that pretty

Her talent is very low compared to rest of bp you can't deny that, of course she is pretty and as i said jisoo suits korean beauty standards which is a big reason why she was able to get in YG but i don't think her face alone would be able to make her very popular if she debuted in some nugu company.

Irene ( you chose irene for this comment)
She is also talentless like jisoo ( shaded jisoo) but i think her face is enough to make her very popular even in non big3 group. Because she became a it girl in her group even though there are so much more talented members than her in her group just because of face.
anyways this argument is pointless as you know your intentions, have a nice day

GDragon is the most obvious answer but to spice the question a little i will only talk about idols who didn't debut solo.
I think Bang Chan of Stray Kids can totally work his way inside this industry. I also think Irene would succeed just because she has easily one of the best visual ever. Wendy should be able to succeed solo, though i don't know if she would succeed inside a group. Unfortunatly outside Jennie and Rose i don't see Jisoo nor Lisa succeeding as solo artists (though not consistently). Lisa's language barrier would be much worse on a smaller company and with less exposure from the beginning, it would be hard to create a following as a foreigner. Jisoo has a particular voice but slowly build up a fanbase when bp was growing in popularity. I think she is really dependent on the popularity of the group she is in. As a solo artist i don't think she has that touch to become popular, as the scene is very small in Korea. Twice idk, Jihyo definetly could, Nayeon too but for the others would be very hard. The japanese lineup + tzuyu is super effective as a group but separated it would be way harder.
