Are multistans "real" stans?

Multistans can have a main bias group or even a few groups that are their absolute favorites. They can promote and support them very well. It's possible.
bartkun, for instance, does a great job at promoting and supporting multiple groups. I think he's a great example of a true multistan.

Been a multistan for almost 10 years.
I think there's this idea that you're only allowed to like one group or have one ultimate bias. Imo, it's inaccurate. There are so many idols nowadays and they all deserve love and "fans," regardless of how we define them. I always say we should love and appreciate our faves while they are active because idols have said time and time again that the love of their fans is what makes everything worth it AND because their careers as idols are often short-lived. Be a fan because you want to be, whether u casually listen or you're into streaming and voting. Doesn't matter imo.

Imagine being an ARMYBLINK
No need to imagine I exist, I'm an ArmyBlinkOnceReVe

I think often too many times people project their own cult mentality or very strong biased feelings onto others
which is why they assume some multis have ill intent or are fake-
where while it can be true, more than often I just notice the hate against certain multis is unwarranted.
now n days it feels like a war where people childishly want you to pick one side.Yeah, I've never gotten the "pick a side" thing. Like, this is music. It's supposed to be enjoyed. Why all the competition? I feel like the more music you end up enjoying, the richer you are for it

Multistan is the real stan. Because they usually dont do stupid things to annoy others. That only brings more hate towards your group and fans.
What are the kinds of things that annoy others?
-
sometimes yes, most of the time no...
when someone stans 3-4 groups it's likely they can put time, money and effort into all of them
if you only listen to the group you're not really a stan, just a casual fan.
if you're still buying merch/albums, voting for them and stuff like that then you qualify as a stan, anything less and youre just a fan
-
I personally only stan one group. I do love all the members of the group even my biases keep changing as all the members bring different things to a group.
Being a multistan is similar, there are just groups instead of members and it is entirely possible to love them and not throw others under the bus. But the first one is considered more "believelable".
Sure there are some who use it just to shade the groups but generalizations won't get us anywhere
-
They are real stan as long they support the groups. It might hard for them to promote all or watching all of the groups they stan in multiple shows. I think multistan is better than someone that stan a group for their achievement and start to bragging and insulting other group.

Are you only a real stan if you are buying stuff and voting? Even if you only stan one group?

I'd say most of my fandoms are either mainly multi stans or highly welcome multis. There aren't too many fandoms out there that actively dislike multis, mainly the bigger ones

I'm pretty real as a multi-fan would you all like me to post my collection? lol

People have different definitions of the word 'stan', to me personally, being a stan just means enjoying the music and liking the members so yes I think multistans are real stans

So solo stan is not a "real stan"?
-
-
Multi-stans are real fans if they don't throw anyone under the bus. I stan 4 groups but I consider myelf a casual fans of some others groups. I don't stan them because I don't have enough time to be that invested in a lot of groups but maybe some others have this time or have a different definition of the word stanning.

Of course not

Of course multifans are real fans. If you love and support a group then you are "real" even if you don't know shit about them. This is another aspect where kpop is basically sports for some people. For some people if you can't name the hospitals your ult group members were born in then you're not a "real" fan. Gatekeeping is never cool.
