itzy will not be hurt by this just by looking at their chart performance, the song didn't drop in the chart so it means that the GP isn't against them because of the bullying scandal
meanwhile when you compare with Gidle it will be harder because Hwaa fall down in the chart when the rumor of soojing bullying came out
meaning that they directly stop supporting gidle after the scandal
i must admit that i'm kinda of happy that Aespa bullying rumor came out during their pre debut and were quickly prove to be false, because it would have really hurt their momentum with NL if the rumor came out now

I’ll say right now the only reason why Soojin/IDLE’s case got as big and as bad as it did was because one of the alleged victims is a beloved child actress. Honestly the egging on the actress to respond should have not happened as it got worse because the actress came out to call their bluff.
Had CUBE just moved on and didn’t include the actress, there probably would be a bigger success rate in Soojin coming back.
Lia’s case is with a former classmate. As long as JYPE sticks with Lia’s side and keeps on going eventually people will look past it and still support. Especially because she is Big 3.
Idk, both Sistar and T-ara(before hwayoung) had members with iljin/bully rumors but the public kept listening to their songs and the girls got cfs and opportunities. If something as big as hwayoung gate happens then maybe the new ggs could be over but bully rumors didn't destroy careers as much as people think
It is worse for Gidle if Soojin were to be forced to leave since she is such an integral member of the group.
However, i think Itzy will do fine without Lia. She is not one of the popular members, and although she is main vocal, she is not really that much better than the other members. Her dancing is also lacking so this might allow Itzy to perform even better.

Dont worry, Lia is not going anywhere. For what i know about Itzy, if Lia leave then is over for Itzy. I mean, you cant sell the idea of being super close and united and later kick out one member.

I just don't see it ending their career, at least Lia's, unless the victim comes out with proof or there are more victims. She belongs to a big 3 company, they have survived worst scandals

Yeji, ryujin, chaeryeong and yuna are important but you can't deny Lia's contribution in their songs. If you don't stan itzy then shut up. Lia was trained to be a vocalist not a dancer and she's improving her dancing skills every come back. So calling her less important just because she can't dance well like others that's why she should be kicked out doesn't make any sense. Big 3 groups don't add new members unless you're in NCT. Even IF Lia bullied someone like 6-7 years ago, you can't underestimate her hardwork. All the members are important piece of the group they're nothing if one of them leaves. Also if you wanna shit around other artists who has bullying accusations then pls take down hyunjin's photos from your pfp. I don't want hyunjin get any hate because of you.

Fair enough, but if it came down to the hypothetical scenario where JYP were to be forced to drop a member it would be Lia that's all i'm saying.
Itzy is much more popular than Gidle, this happened just as gidle was just starting to get popular. Unfortunately, Gidle killed their momentum just as they were starting to get popular. As far as I've observed, Soyeon is the main reason for keeping the group alive. Also Ryujin, Yeji and Yuna are the most popular members in Itzy. Yeji also carries the main vocal parts. I find Lia's voice unique and beautiful, I hope she gets through this. It seems wrong to me to judge people by their past actions. Moreover, there is not enough concrete evidence.
JYP made things worse for Lia.. if it comes out she really did bully that girl, it will mean it wasn`t just something years ago, but Lia and JYP put this girl thru lawsuit and stuff and that will look horrible for them.
By the way does anybody know if former school mates said anything about this, usually if the person didn`t bully formers school mates come out to defend them.
ppl will really see them as just a dance group then.. i know Lia is not an amazing main vocal, but at least her tone is really nice, Yeji and Chaeryoung are nowhere near main vocal level and their voices don`t really stand out, Lia leaving would impact their songs a lot.
