Is Aespa better than Red Velvet?

imo i like aespa more than rv i think its just because rv have been on a hiatus for a long time and people started forgetting

I am a MY but I don't think so aespa has a longevity to compare. It's just that RV is on hiatus. Hopefully RV wont get f(x)ed, as Yeri has promised that they will soon have a comeback.

There's little reason to compare RV and aespa honestly. If they were not under the same company, would people do so? Obviously not.

I mean, it depends on your preference. The music is the same, vocals are similar, stage pressence nothing new. It's basically Red Velvet with another package of new young visuals

Are you still that but-hurt that Red Velvet outsold f(x) ?

When you compare both groups first year you see that Aespa destroys RV. Much like RV first year destroyed f(x).

Its almost as if the groups themselves keep getting 10 times better than the previous. OR...maybe it's just the natural growth of the industry. But making that claim is blasphemy right?

Honestly, I never got comparing 4th gen groups to their 3rd gen group from the same company from before them. Or at all, really.

I know you're pretty harcore Red Velvet anti. You obviously still blame Red Velvet instead of blaming Sm for what happened to F(x). As long as Red Velvet has this many antis and is still very popular, I know they will continue to be strong individually and as a group. Also I liked Aespa, they are well rounded group. They have a so much potential.

Ngl if fx) debuted with a lineup of Sulli, Krystal, Victoria, Luna in today’s generation, I believe they would absolutely smash every competition. Most beautiful Kpop Idol of all time Sulli + Center It Girl English speaking Krystal + China Queen and A-List Actress Victoria + Main Vocal of the generation Luna THEY WOULD ABSOLUTELY DEVOUR. And yes, even RV and aespa. Now if we talk about RV vs aespa, they are pretty much equal imo.

When successful, proven K-pop companies like BH/YG/SM/JYP announced a new group they'd debut, K-pop fans who knew and loved their former groups could hardly wait for the new group to debut, confident that the company who had launched so many great groups would deliver again.

Now I know this is a hard question, but bear with me: do you see any pattern or similarities in the examples listed above? Might it be proven successes in the past, and goodwill that all those parties built with the audience for their next projects?

Ngl i feel like having amber in the group ruined them. Because of her they can never be a public friendly group. Plus she’s hella problematic LOL she’s better off gone in the group Sulli actually had a pretty rap tone and I saw many compliment her on rum pumpum and wished she rapped more instead of amb*r.
