Am I the only person who dislikes really long fake nails

And it's dirty under the nail most of the time

I agree, like how do you eat, clean under your real nails, wipe your butt, etc.?

But those Jisoo ones, those are fine and don't cause any problems for me when I have them. Those Yeri ones, probably.

I don't like fake nails either though for me, personally, the length isn't the issue.

They just look so thick. Like there's a growth on your real nail (looks even worse once a gap becomes visible).

I love nails I don't get them done often but I know how to apply them and all of that. I'm not a pro I'm still learning but it's fun. I can understand why people don't like looking at them because they remind me of a dog's paw I can't lie Long nails are fun to do and easier.

The other week I've witnessed typing with long nails for the first time and I must say I'm impressed but also that's wack.

Needless to say, if ye want the claw look, go for finger claws, they get the message acrosss quite nicely.

Trust me... My own nails don't look any better.

in my country these nails are exclusively associated with lower class women

like you don't see doctors, lawyers, anyone at university level or just a CEO's wife with those kinds of nails

so people will look down on you if you have them

You're not alone, Selfiematey. I don't like it too...aesthetically, I get why people might want it but I'm too lazy (and clumsy) to get them for myself. It's also going to bother me everytime I do something.

Longer nails make it easier to fix any mistakes. Like if the client wants gems on their nails and the nail tech gules it on wrong, it's easier to fix compared to a shorter nail because the nail tech would have to start all over again. Medium is a hit or miss, very risky depending on where you place the gems. If the gem is glued wrong at the (near the cuticle line) it could mess up the entire nail. It could just be me being an amateur at nails though
