NJs is second
Day6 is first
LMAO at the votes. OP with the unintentional setup and people failing the reading comprehension check badly.

well op needs to add the possibility to change vote 😅😅
Seriously, never give up the day job. You're doing wonders promoting the group.
Look at all the Mys voting aespa as the third biggest group

I assumed SK - NJ - Aespa/ive
No point debating over the same pointless discussions time and time again ![]()
One thread Aespa’s leading 4th gen the next thread it’s Ive and the next thread is Njz or Sk! We could be in 2045 and still have the same discussion lol ![]()

Aren't IVE and Aespa about equal in popularity in Korea? Individually I think IVE members might be more popular than Aespa members in korea. Wonyoung and Yujin are more popular than Karina and Winter. Unsure what the difference in popularity between Giselle, Ningning, Rei, Lizz Gauel, and Leeso.
IVE might be slightly bigger than Aespa, but NewJeans is the biggest 4th gen group

No.
I'm pretty much the authority on girl group hierarchy. Present day, aespa is the most popular active 4th generation girl group, even though they haven't peaked as high as 2023 IVE. When NewJeans return, they will be back at the top.
I'm a fencesitter which is very contrary to @Yama-Chan's code of ethics apparently
and just the other day the RNGods decided I should more look forward to Aespa's cb
and now besides the data, criteria, metrics blah blah blah
let's go - Heads for Aespa, Tails for IVE
It would seem that the RNGods really want me to promote Aespa - HEADS
I'm pretty much the authority on girl group hierarchy.

Display MoreI think in korea digitally you could argue that IVE have been better career stats wise, but Aespa is catching up
Physical sales wise IVE slightly edges it, not sure if Rich Man can help because the gap is quite small as well
Internationally Aespa is definitely doing better
I would say digitally aespa currently have the better stat especially after how well drama, supernova and whiplash performed in korea
Digitally internationally aespa also have better numbers on spotify and youtube music
Physical sales Ive have the edge, their album sales better than aespa one
Touring, aespa also have the edge
Looking at the same place and for the same number of dates
For example both of them perform at the KSPO dome for 2 days on their last dates
While IVE had 16k attendees, aespa had 19K
At singapore for one dates, they both sold 8.5K
At jamsil stadium, ive had 11.077 attendees, and 11.697 for aespa
And at tokyo dome for 2 days, ive win with 95k which might be explain by their more hardwork promotions here compare to aespa who did 94K
Kinda surprised to see more votes for aespa tbh.
Peak in Korea? Ive.
Peak outside Korea? Equal, leaning towards Ive. Both have exactly zero achievements in US but Ive did enter Spotify US with After Like and that is not something insignificant imo.
Currently, there is no doubt aespa is ahead of them and since they are still growing while Ive has become stagnant, I think aespa will end their careers as the third biggest 4th gen group with a shot at #2.
Overall I don't think aespa should be ranked above IVE but an argument can be made for them.
Last year I'd put aespa easily ahead of IVE, especially due to their international performance on streaming plataforms, since they had an incredible run of singles from Drama to Whiplash.
But after Dirty Work, I'm not so sure anymore. It seems like their performance isn't exactly solid and wrong singles choices can push them for 2022-early 2023 level of international interest again.
But I think they are very close, you can make an argument for both.
