He had a chance with NiziU, but 99.9% of NiziU's promo/performances have been in Japan ... they just had their 1st Korean cb (1.5 years after their Korean debut with Heartris) ... but I don't know when their next Korean cb will be .... they're so booked in Japan with all the Japan brand deals, festivals in Japan, tours in Japan etc. ....

NiziU got a Korean Music Show win for both Heartris (Korean debut) and Love Line (Korean cb)!!!

2021 was a very optimistic and hopeful year, after a tough 2020 ... it was like a calm between the storms ... especially around the time Squid Game S1 came, plus Stray Kids Thunderous/Cheese/Domino ....

Maybe because the Blackpink members (soloists) right now are chilling in a swimming pool in LA, or eating oyster at a 10-star restaurant in Paris, or shopping at Harrod's in London, or modeling in New York etc....

Keep in mind that I started the thread before the Momoland announcement .... now my hopes for a gugudan, Weki Meki and GWSN comeback have increased!

I am NOT here to complain "Blackpink is too Westernized!!!" "Blackpink are sellouts!!!" etc.

I know that the majority of Kpop is indeed "Westernized" and not just Blackpink.

However when I think of Blackpink and then think of other ggs that debuted around the same time as Blackpink such as Oh My Girl, WJSN and Gfriend, I don't know why but Oh My Girl, WJSN and Gfriend feel more "Korean/Asian" to me than Blackpink does.

I feel more like a weeaboo/koreeaboo etc. when I listen to (or watch content featuring) Oh My Girl, WJSN etc. compared to Blackpink.

I can't believe it .... if I said yesterday that "Momoland will make a comeback", I would have been called delulu

Even if someone informs the Blackpink soloists of a win in, say, MCountdown, they be like : "OK, whatever, right now, I'm having oyster at this 10 star restaurant in Paris"

I'm not saying that the music show wins should only go to super nugus ... but the Blackpink soloists don't even perform on Korean soil, they sing in pure English, and don't consider themselves kpop ... they're probably not even aware of each Korean music show win (or don't care)
