A visionary indeed, I should've voted for them too!!

Of course my real answer is BP, even though I do recognize that BB is clearly huge and impactful, at least domestically. BP overall is just on another level though, no other gg or bg can compare to them except BTS.
It's impressive that G-dragon can just release music at any time and still run the charts though. But we have seen that the pinks can do the same with their solos and I think they will continue to be big in the future. I can see Jennie ending up being like G-dragon and will always be huge in SK like he is. I think BP will have a similar legacy but I guess we'll see.
After 8 YEARS of hiatus! That's almost longer than BP's active career, btw.🤣
Like in Korea? Bigbang.
Overall? Blackpink. And it will remain Blackpink. We saw this most recently with how GD’s solo performed.
Bigbang are at the end of the day only a 2nd gen group and they have always been irrelevant outside of Korea and some parts of Asia.
Coming to Korea I think it can be a million years and they’ll still love and support BB lol. I think BP are popular but I don’t think even at their peak they were as beloved as BB.

Maybe do some research before you talk? Thank you!
They were so irrelevant, right?😂
Blackpink biggest tour so far:

Overall. In SK the biggest group ever is BB imo, they are that massive there.

Big Bang is a A+ Lister in Korea, Japan and China

Big Bang clears them easy
Big Bang is a A+ Lister in Korea, Japan and China
BP is a C Lister in America.
Big Bang clears them easy
BP is also a A+ lister in Korea, Japan and China
Then they are SS lister in sea
And combining their Europe+America (north and south) numbers they are also S lister ww.
The group that start with letter B
BP with China going to that +3M attendance
Big Bang is the most popular artist in more of the biggest music markets.
They destroy BB in China, Japan and even Korea. It's not even close.
So sorry monalisalove but it's an insult to think BP are in the same class or tier as Big Bang in Korea. The only girl group to touch Big Bang numbers in Korea is peak NewJeans
BP is just feeding on the CRUMBS left by Big Bang, who built YG from the ground up. I don't care what kind of numbers they do in present day K-Pop; their legacy will always come second to the KINGS.
We've already covered this. I don't give a damn what BP do in some tiny music markets.
What do you do in the biggest ones? If Blinks want to make their bed on BP being C List celebrities in the U.S. (and I'm being generous), so be it.
At the end of the day, 20 years from now, when people canonize the greatest K-Pop groups of all time, I GUARANTEE Big Bang will be ranked ahead of BP.

“Biggest music market in the world” because of how much money you can make off it it doesn’t mean what you think it does.
BP is able to have stadium tours all over the world in places BB can’t even dream about. So your explanation doesn’t make any sense.

“Doesn’t matter what they do in a tiny market” because you don’t know the implication of what market size means and use it in a manner of discounting actual people.
Some countries are richer than others economically. So there’s less money moving moving through some music markets than others.
This doesn’t change the fact that BP can still do stadium in a variety of different markets small or big.
Stop grasping at straws and not understanding the meaning of the words you’re using.
Lmao that's not even remotely true. Big Bang can ALSO tour anywhere in the world and pull numbers. Are you out of your mind? If OT4 Big Bang returned and announced a world tour, they'd sell out every stop instantly. They are the KINGS and not a soul here will ever convince me otherwise. You're wasting your time.
And objectively wrong.
Let's see how many people are streaming BP in 2034. Like I said.
Big Bang is 18 years old and STILL running this industry.

That's a them problem. I don't give a damn. Just like I don't care about your trash takes junking up the thread as always. Not an ounce of logic and even less credibility.
Just because you have some petty vendetta against all things GD and Big Bang.
It's comically idiotic to claim Big Bang can't do stadiums all over the world.
They're one of the three most iconic groups in K-Pop history. That's just a stupid statement.
Now begone. I just used you to get my toxic fix and I'm satiated now.
When comparing Blackpink, Big Bang, and Babymonster in terms of size and influence, there are a few factors to consider, such as their global popularity, sales, and influence within the K-pop industry. Here's a breakdown:
Blackpink:
Global Popularity: Blackpink is currently one of the biggest and most globally recognized K-pop groups. They have broken numerous records, including being the most-subscribed female group on YouTube and performing in major international venues. Their music has charted highly on Billboard, and they have a massive international fanbase.
Sales: They have achieved significant commercial success, both in terms of albums and singles.
Influence: They are often seen as K-pop's global ambassadors, working with major brands and appearing at major international events.
Big Bang:
Legacy and Influence: Big Bang is a legendary group in K-pop history. They played a significant role in globalizing K-pop, especially in the 2010s. Their music and influence paved the way for many of today’s K-pop acts.
Popularity: Although Big Bang's most active period has passed (with members pursuing solo careers or military service), their impact is still profound, and they remain a household name in K-pop. They are often seen as one of the best boy groups ever in K-pop.
Sales: Big Bang has sold millions of albums, and their songs continue to enjoy enduring popularity.
Babymonster:
Emerging Group: Babymonster is a new group from YG Entertainment, which has high expectations surrounding them due to their affiliation with YG (the same company that manages Blackpink and Big Bang). However, as of now, Babymonster is still in its early stages and hasn't reached the level of fame or recognition that Blackpink or Big Bang has.
Popularity: Their success is still to be fully seen, as they have only just debuted, and their music and international impact have yet to be proven.
In summary:
Blackpink is currently the biggest in terms of international recognition, global fanbase, and commercial success.
Big Bang holds a legendary status in K-pop, with a huge influence on the industry, but they are not as active currently.
Babymonster is an emerging group and has yet to reach the level of prominence that Blackpink or Big Bang has.
So, as of now, Blackpink is the biggest, followed by Big Bang, with Babymonster still building its presence.
You know what, I'm done with this shit, I let Yama educate kids this time! 😂
All I'm gonna say is that Bigbang did everything ALONE, meanwhile Blackpink and other YG groups got everything since pre-debut days. They never had to starve, write their own music, got their fashion brand deals before debut etc.
Bigbang never had stadium tours in the US, because YG, just like SME never cared about that, untill Blackpink.
GD will have a World Tour this year, so let's see which of the BP members can outdo his numbers, when he's outselling all of them after an 8 years long hiatus. No offense to Jennie, but she's doing 10K arena concert in KOREA where's she's supposedly the biggest It Girl.
Anyway, bye!
Obviously Blackpink.
No surprise to see a bunch of boomers mansplaining success and trying to gaslight people in to agreeing with their biased definition of it.
Spotify - doesn't count
Views - doesn't count
Social media - doesn't count
Scandals - doesn't count
Anything that doesn't suit their narrative - doesn't count
Korean charting - counts
"LeGAcY" - counts

More like a bunch of ignorant zoomers brag about numbers that didn't even EXIST during the peak of Big Bang's success, nor would the groups of today ever have a chance at even accomplishing said numbers if not for the foundation and now multi generational impact created by BIG BANG.
YG would be NOTHING without Big Bang carrying that company to Big 3 status ON THEIR OWN and creating the framework that all other YG idol groups relied on going forward.
The Big 3 was SM, JYP and DSP pre-Big Bang
Not that I expect you fools to know that.
Also the overuse of try hard buzzwords like "mansplain" and "gaslight" does nothing but make you look unintelligent. They don't even make sense in any mother ****ing context you're haphazardly trying to shove them into
I don't have to gaslight shit. I don't respect your opinions regardless of gender.
Ahhhhhh that felt good. Thank you.

So no there is no current proof of that, right? So let’s wait for this non existent comeback and then make that judgement.
The Big Bang vote total has doubled since I made my impassioned arguments.
Clearly my team is winning.
