The amount of people went out at cold winter night to watch her every day in December until Christmas was very very impressive.

And they had to cancel cuz there were too many people watching her

Like her face is everywhere and even on Christmas ads

Suzy can end every so called "It Girls" from every gen since the 3rd. Even today. Her only competition were always IU and Yoona. That's all.

Karina is really popular, but the fact is, today's "It Girls" are not as big as they were back in the days. Also, let's be real, no one would care about Jennie and even Karina if they're not a member of a popular group, but Suzy and Yoona did it without their groups.

I don't want to bring this up, but still, Hwasa did it alone without any massive PR or popular group, and she still holds records that no one can achieve. Even if she's not charting that good anymore, she's still massive in Korea.

That's because Kpop was more consolidated but much smaller market then, so an It girl was It to everybody.

Now it is much larger, but much fragmented, so the new It girls actually pull larger numbers, don't reach across siloes.

I think Karina atm but overall it's still Jennie by far.

solo pulled 1m unique listners and it has 1 billion views on youtube with 15m likes and 680m streams on spotify. Overall Jennie pulled far better numbers if we are talking worldwide

I'm sorry but I literally got into kpop because I found Jennie's "Solo" while looking through the top 50 on global spotify, so while I'm happy for Karina and her success, Jennie can and she has.
