Some things in social media during this dispute these last months are probably the lowest I've ever seen a fandom go. In kpop everything is about charts, numbers, talent, sometimes looks... Obviously I don't defend any of that, no group should receive any hate for those things, but they've always seemed quite childish to me.

However this kind of things have crossed a line a while ago and I'm shocked they still get this huge support and engament and it's still not being called out by the own fandom. These months were the first time I could go to Twitter and see things that really piss me off and not those childish fanwars. Things like this tweet have been common for a while and it seems it won't stop.

This is just a rant I wanted to post somewhere anyway, but people should really think a bit before posting or even liking something just because of fanwars, it's truly disappointing how low people can go.

Jungkook showing support to NJ just leaded to them twisting the situation as much as they could to hate on them again. It's scary how normalized their behaviour is and how passive everybody is about it. These are not normal arguments of fanwars. I really hope K-Bunnies are starting legal action against this kind of things from international fans too.

Not entirely. It'll just be a bit more complicated to execute because bunnies themselves aren't the one receiving all the directed hate. Plus there's a lot of parties involved so the process will take longer.

If NewJeans were the one to sue for harassment, then that would be a different case cuz they'd have stronger lawyers so that'd be the best bet.

That was an extremely and outstandingly ignorant tweet, and it's still sadly not the worst I've seen from that ARMY of cultists.

These kinds of tweets are what I see almost daily, and the sentiments are often echoed and upvoted on Reddit

And the cultists have successfully brigaded the AKP site as well. The comments section is just as ignorant and vitriolic as twitter, if not worse at times.

My favorite comment today was someone on Reddit saying they left the forums because they were shocked how supportive we were of NJ and MHJ, and then they thanked ARMY for always giving them "facts" and unbiased information

I don't know why fans still supporting male groups.they are the least idols who will speak up for anything (not even during political situations that clearly threatened their own democracy) since most of them are depend too much on parasocial relationship of their "fans" that willing to spend fortune for them.
