Perfect Night was big, but everyone knows Supernova was the hit of the year. It even blocked NewJeans, and only a generational mega hit song could dream of accomplishing that.

But MAMA is biased against soloists (different from SolUnits, 1 member subunit of active groups), because they need the fandom for TRP and therefore fandom votes.
GP loves IU, but they don't bother with trivial things like voting for awards etc. Uaena as a fandom is smaller than fandoms of even mid-groups, the physical sales indicate that.
Imagine the supreme queen of digital charts, the Mother PAKer, got her 1st physical bonsang only in 2021.
