For a lot of KPop fans KPop is more interesting than their real life.

clearly many of the people on this forum see it as more than just a hobby lol. And honestly that's fine within reason, but not the life for me. This is just 1 of many hobbies that I've collected over the years. I deeply enjoy all of my hobbies (movies/tv, anime/manga, legos, cars, motorcycles, programming, gaming, ....speedcubing, learning, etc etc) but Id prefer not to be known for or make my identity 1 of these things.

I'm confused about the results like if u guys think kpop stans treat kpop as their identity does it include yourselves or nah? I voted the former because it's how I treat kpop. A hobby.

There's no way I would consider it part of my identity when kpop is not even my most listened genre and artists on spotify, and I don't even treat the other genres or hobbies I enjoy as part of my identity either.

Honestly, b!tch, I write and edit for a living. This comes as naturally to me as breathing and always has.

Kids these days are all about their Jujutsu Kaisens and their My Hero Academias and their Kimetsu no Yaibas.

But I still love the old school greats.

Can't forget classics like Outlaw Star and Trigun either. Maybe some Cowboy Bebop too.
