I'd drop all my SM faves in a heartbeat if BH bought SM and they all started releasing BH style music with the BH trademark mixing that makes the vocals sound like they're drowning under the instruments and all the processing (see Gfriend's Mago and TXT's entire discography)

They can't afford YG. YG's asserts alone is about 600 billion Won.

Big Hit's liabilities are enormous already.

Besides, BH and YG are more like partners. They've invested in each other's subsidiaries. And the new VFX venue that Naver/YG/Big Hit are building is on YG-owned land.

BH officials themselves said that they don't know how to handle distribution, thats why they went to YGPlus.
