I remember in the recent survival show R U Next that hybe conducted for illit, in the intro episode they were mentioning their groups and mentioned even seventeen but not fromis_9

They started nugu so hybe stans didnt felt like hyping them since there was no success achievements to brag about.. ironically the fact that they were nugu is why they are currently the nuguest in hybe.

If they happen to miraculously get a hit, you'll see A LOT of success stans dickriding them. In a way that not even Fifty Fifty managed to be hyped despite having arguably the biggest 4th gen international hit.

Because they're not successful enough so they don't claim them.

If they suddenly went viral and started being relevant things would be different.

Since no one else will say it, I will say it.

They are flops, and the lowest group on the totem pole in HYBE.

HYBE stans won't claim them because there's nothing to brag about.

Every "debuted" HYBE girl group is doing massively well, and ILLIT will follow that path too.

Fromis_9 just don't get the budget from Pledis or the promotion, the members not promoted individually, and the songs aren't a stand out.

I doubt they'll ever rise up in HYBE.

It'll always only be NewJeans, Le sserafim, ILLIT, and KATSEYE

I'm 100% sure I'm the only one here who watched every episode of Idol School, owns the very first album Fromis_9 released and has also seen them perform in person. I also said their full album drop last year, Unlock My World, was the best album of 2023.

And I still call Love Bomb peak pop perfection.

Maybe if NewJeans or Le Sserafim ever have a world tour, Fromis_9 can be their opening act, throw a few dollars towards the girls.

I’m a specifically Ador’s NewJeans stan so i dont really care about the other groups. I happen to like Le Sserafim but it isnt like i like them because theyre HYBE. In fact i originally DISLIKED them for that.

I will say that i dont look at the HYBE subsidiaries as labelmates. It feels like more like theyre different stores in the same mall

people used to exclude svt too until only recently because svt interact a lot with other hybe groups. we don't see much interactions between fromis_9 and other hybe groups though so people tend to forget about them. pledis don't seem to promote them well either.

Unfortunately, they aren't as popular compared to their label mates.

But don't let that stop you!!!

I like 3 HYBE groups, so I guess I'll answer. I don't care for girl groups, with Twice and Mamamoo being the only exceptions, as I consider myself a casual fan of both. So I don't talk about Fromis 9 because why would I?
