First group I had to look up cause I've never checked them out. After looking at photos I'll go with Jiwoo.

Tough one. So many members. But I usually go with Uee.
Love that you picked Uee.
I've been her fan ever since I first saw her in the 2011 Korean drama Birdie Buddy. Then explored her other dramas as well as her idol career.
Idol era Uee is legendary. One of the most beautiful idols kpop has had in my opinion.
She's so pretty. She has one of my favorite archetype looks.

Much like Seolhyun, she was every guys dream crush.
Check out this video with all the male idols fanboying her and sparking the cute jealousy among the other members. So cute and funny. But yea, spot on.
All the boys fall for Uee.

I particularly loved her in the aforementioned Birdie Buddy. But another one she's phenomenal in is Marriage Contract (2016).
I'm happy she's found success switching from idol to actress. She's one of the ex-idols I'm always following and interested in what she does.
One of kpop's best 2nd Gen idols, and underrated if you ask me. Not many seem to ever talk about her much, even when referencing 2nd gen. Nana always seems to be the go to AFTER SCHOOL reference by most.
Anyway, another long tangent. Was happy you mentioned her. Lol.
P.S. RE: Birdie Buddy.

It's a golf sports k-drama where she plays a young golf phenom who's taken under the wing by a dreds wearing, motorcycle riding bad boy pro golf coach, and then later, taught the mystical ways of Golf by a mysterious monk-like white guy hermit who lives in solitude way up in the secluded Korean mountains.
It's part traditional inspirational sports movie, part Mr. Miyagoi Karate Kid, part traditional drama romance.
One of those dramas that on paper sounds absurd, yet somehow works and becomes something charming and special.

She is so dreamy. She caught my attention the first time I saw her in After School. That clip on the flight is hilarious lol. I didn't realize you were a fan of hers so yeah it's awesome we both like her.
I actually watched the first few episodes of Birdie Buddy about a year ago and really liked it. I need to finish it.

Solar. Is that a mainstream pick? I'm not sure cause I didn't follow them that closely.
I don't think there's a mainstream pick in Mamamoo, because as I said, anyone who loves them, usually can't choose. People outside the fandom, usually pick Solar or Hwasa. Moonbyul has the most fans in the fandom, probably, because she's the "girl crush" type. Not to mention the LGBTQ+ community, she's like their leader.
I heard some people say, Solar is a clown, a fool, over the top etc, and sure she can be like that, but I think Solar represents what makes a Leader great. When she's acting like a fool, she's doing it to make her members happy. Especially Wheein. I think Wheein is one of the main reason why they're crackheads. So, I'm not surprised you picked her. Most people love her because she's a powerhouse vocalist, especially since her Mata Hari musical, she evolved so much since then.

Agreed. I think she has that same type of look about her that we both seem to go for a lot. Tall, tan, dark hair, cute face, honey thighs. Same with Seolhyun, Nayoung, Tzuyu, etc.
It's a fanboy killer combo.
Oh I had forgotten think I had mentioned Birdie Buddy to you way back before. Yea you'll have to when you feel in the mood one of these days.
By the way, side tangent since we're on shows.
Have you seen Masters of the Air? It's that new TV series by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks about the World War 2 era bomber groups that flew in the European theater and had tremendous attrition rates.
I watched the 1st episode was blown away. So good. One of the most exciting and moving shows I've seen in awhile.
If you like war era movies or combat shows, it's exhilarating, emotional, and so well done.
My grandfather was a flight engineer in a bombing group that flew missions in North Africa during the war. And it's astounding to see the kind of thing they experienced and had to do.
He was one of the fortunate ones who made it through while seeing so many of his brothers perish. Made it through 36 missions and on their crew's last mission had mechanical failure and had to crash land their plane in the desert deep in enemy territory, where he hiked out with his crew to get back.
He wouldn't get in a plane for 25 years after the war. Said he'd felt he'd "used up all his luck".

You're right. She has that look that we go for. It makes me wonder if Korean guys prefer a tan or the pale white that Korea says is ideal for female beauty. Cause all those guys in that clip wanted to sit with Uee. I was reading some of the comments on that video and it seems she got a lot of hate from female kpop fans cause she was stealing their oppas eye lol.
Masters of the Air? Have not heard of it. I haven't been on netflix in forever so I don't know what's happening over there. But that does sound interesting. That's amazing about your Grandfather. Seems like nearly everyone who served during WW 2 had an amazing story to tell.
