I don't think that's the reason though I know blinks are messy but there was a reason probably you don't remember but there was some misleading articles aka some mediaplay implying aespa was the first kpop idol group to perform and that they were invited by Coachella when it fact they were part of 88rising set and aespa were included there. I think with lsfm they already mentioned blanpink and aespa in their articles.

I’ve seen extremely pathetic fandoms but I’ve yet to see a fandom as pathetic and full of shii as the blinks. Blinks is what happens when you live through your idols.

Yes, nobody cares about music festivals in America except spoiled college kids and Instagram influencers. It is almost insignificant to the pop culture scene in America. It highlights nothing except for what the guy who runs it wants to have at his festival.

I grew up my whole life in America, 95% of the population doesn’t give a shit who performs at Coachella. It is irrelevant overall. You can have tons of random acts perform there. Now headlining is more impressive than just performing there don’t get me wrong. But Coachella is massively overhyped especially by Kpop fans.

Now if a Kpop group is able to sing at the superbowl half time show… that would be an achievement worth bragging about forever.

Why are you trying to credentialize yourself with how long you've lived in the states? Plenty of people here live in America. You can grow up in the states and not know shit about music festivals.

I digress...have you been to a music festival before? I was at Lollapalooza last summer, and I can confirm it wasn't just a crowd of spoiled college kids and Instagram influencers, given the fact I fall into neither of those categories.

I don't know why you're acting like Coachella is some local middle school talent show, and not the literal biggest music festival in the country, providing a massive platform for newer artists to introduce and market their music, but it's an interesting take.

Let fans be excited. It is a big opportunity for any idol group to have a stage there. Performing at Coachella has way more relevance than a 3rd week at Inkigayo

You all do NOT want idols performing for the SB halftime show. The exposure is not worth the brainless hate they'll receive from NFL fans who always find a way to hate whomever is performing.
