The real number of views must be 1.5 to 2 million

But how tho? If we presume innocence and organic nature of the views, then why? Because of yet again Thai members bringing SEA stans like Lisa did? Then Why Gidle doesn't get those views, isn't Minnie popular enough? Or is there specific bias in SEA for YG and only YG Thais get the approval and hype of the public? Or is it a completely different reason and none of this is even close?

But anyways, when I look at this chart I see a Kpop girl group with lots of inorganic ad boosted views, some Indian singer and Babymonster.

And yes, it's organic as YouTube takes out any inorganic views. And YG doesn't buy ads like JYP does.

My guess is Blackpink influence.

Since Blackpink has been the #1 most popular girl group for a couple of years now (since surprisingly, music industry in the West doesn't do girl groups anymore, at least not successfully ), people are bound to check out the new Blackpink sibling group.

A number of those people will like what they see and return to the group and add them to their playlist and watch list.

Kinda what happens with all the same-company groups that follow after the top popular groups.

If yg had some formula, he'd be able to use it on ikon or winner. Look at their views, outside really really and love scenario they are mediocre. BM have 80m already, ads would cost literally millions bucks.

also couldn't it be just different streaming patterns? baemon got a chunk of yg stans/blinks who likes to stream while gidle's fans are probably a mix of different stans who may or may not stream more than once

Baemon just has a shit ton of ads and blinks hooked up because they are a mini blackpink, I got one of these batter up ads too.

Blackpink fans support the group. It's not just about the add they get that much stream. Because they have almost 2 million likes. So views and likes make sense.

Babymonster is using ads on their MV which shows in their youtube chart streams, but they do have a good amount of likes so it's not like their isn't any organic interest, the company is just using ads to boost visibility which is a good thing for a new group

ads is not a big deal i mean i saw xg shooting star ads many times on tiktok which i guess was one of the factors of the song success

We can count this easily if you want

First week chart 24,5M, second week chart 12,1M

Based on second week average views per day was 1,73M views per day

Around 2 - 3 days of views are now overlapped from Thursday so around 4M~ views

24,5M + 12,1M + 4M = 40,6M real views

Rest remaining views are from the adds

Now current view count is 87,1M views

87.1 - 40,6M = 46,5M~ Views are from the adds

Pretty much similar numbers than other 4th gen groups like aespa, gidle or Itzy used to have

Dudes, the biggest ad count eve I think is like 50 million or smth, companies usually use them during the first week. If a song sits comforably bove 200 million, then it is definitely getting organic views.

JIsoo's flower has 436m views and 10m likes, her views are all organic. I didn't say queen card is all views, i said that cube uses ads.

Did i say it was s bad thing? No, i didn't. Companies prompting their acts is how it should be. But that's why YouTube views now aren't as important as before, they are inflated. Bts and blackpink don't use ads, I'm not sure about other artists, i don't follow them.
