It may be because Hanni has a more korean sounding name and looks pretty korean as well while Lisa looks clearly thai.
Also as someone said she is marketed more as an australien with viet origins rather than a sea / viet star. Koreans actually love her aussie/western hip vibes and the fact that she doesn’t speek korean well. They even love her viet surname PhamPham they use very affectionatly to name her.
I don’t know... maybe Hanni is just that lovely and gp can’t resist. Her charms are overflowing and perfectly suits korea??
Moreover, NJ is basically partially a national gg typa group, gp just really loves them. BP never had such kind of impact. They were more beloved internationally even though they did really well in digitals in korea. As such Hanni also benefits of this love gp has for nj. And she is the most loveable nj member too. So...
Ps: also in BP Jennie was the one who was most hyped and supportrd by yg. She was the cute/hip member with mega star factor. In this regard Jennie and Hanni kinda ressemble each other.

Because Hanni could very well pass as Korean. Or at least is not noticeably in deviation from a mainstream Korean look.
Combine this with the fact Hanni is very much the embodiment of a very warm and infectious sort of aegyo like softness/cuteness/brightness that tends to have strong appeal in kpop.
She is the kind of person that has charm coming out of her ears. It would be hard to not love her, let alone dislike her.
In summary: she blends in ethnically + immense likeability = acceptance/fondness.

1. Lisa debuted at much much older age that Hanni. It's easier for people to justify hating an adult than a child.
2. Hanni looks more Korean.
3. ADOR mostly hides her heritage marketing her as an Australians idol while Lisa was marketed as YGs first Thai idol.
4. Because of Lisa people might be more used to seeing an SEA idol in a big 3 girl group (big 4 now). It's always the 1st generation that gets more flack.

I’m sorry but, I love Lisa and I seriously doubt that’s the reason they hate her. I think it’s just that Lisa’s looks are more to westerners taste. Hanni looks a lot like Sulli. Lisa looks like a young Britney Spears. Most Americans who know who she is think she is drop dead gorgeous.

But I’d assume Lisa’s lesser popularity in SK is mostly just cuz she looks distinctively non-Korean (she was the first BP member I could differentiate) so automatically Koreans probably gravitate towards the other three because of xenophobia towards SEA. Meanwhile Hanni definitively could pass as Korean.
I don’t think it’s a visual problem tbh, even if Lisa looks distinct she fits KBS quite well (especially her body which gets a lot of praise). I think it’s mostly the fact that the other three members have something else that draws the GP in (Jennie for her cute-sexy appeal, Jisoo for her near-perfect visuals, and Rosie for her voice) so Lisa ends up at the tail-end because she’s of a different nationality unfortunately. She is not an adult, is cute and NJ are still in their honeymoon phase.
No foreigner or even 1/2 Korean (publicly acknowledged - there is one and if she ever is, its doa careerwise in Korea) has ever continued to be "loved" long term by Koreans in the history of Kpop. For a foreigner or even 1/2 Korean, one small mistake and its over.

Lisa is not hated by Korean public. They still like her and praise her many times. The difference is that Hanni can be their bias in the group ( like she is top 3 or even top 2 in monthly ranking of female idol's brand if I'm not wrong) because she fits Korean's standards more. Here are some reasons from what I see:
1. She has Korean's look and is really young and cute.
2. She is the main vocal and has lovely singing voice that I have seen they praised her voice many times. Some top comments even said that her voice is the charm of NJ songs.
3. She is always fun to watch on and off stage. Her personality is really cute and funny and we know Korean love that.
