Aespa Spicy - Why youtube and digital is low in comparison Ive and Le sserafim?

AESPA is a good song
is currently make it good enough for me to listened to AESPA song
even better than Newjeans recent comeback OMG or ditto

but to say it needed to chart higher is asking too much about it

it just not as good as
IVE recent comeback

but I say it much better than LSF unforgiven

I just did a rough calculation of the Views to Likes ratio and LSRFM's does match very well with Shut Down by BP and Dynamite by BTS, both of whom don't use ads.

Shutdown has 429M views and 10M likes, a ratio of 42.9 views to 1 like.

Unforgiven has 51M views and 1.2M likes, a ratio of 42.5 views to 1 like.

Dynamite has 1.6B views and 36M likes, a ratio of 44.4 views to 1 like.

Pretty interesting how consistent these ratios are .

1.3 million preorder and #6 on melon on the first day isn't something to call "losing public interest"

SM doesn't invest heavily in yt ads anymore

they're doing fine.

Aespa has a strong core fandom that bulk buys, while the other 2 has greater general public interest.

All in all, and its still early, but I'd rank all three at the same level in Korea, if we just assume there is no payola

Aespa - best in physicals, worst in digitals

Ive - best in digitals, worst in physical

LSF - good in both physical and digital

and there isn't really that much difference between them in either digitals or physicals

I heard Views from youtube ads are not counted in the first 24 hours.

Some groups even had views in the second day more than first 24hours because they used ads.

from youtube chart 1st week (3-4 days tarcking):

-I Am: 15.4 M

-unforgiven: 14.2 M

Why are Fans are saying aespa dont have any adds?? I just checked and they have 14M views with 600k likes. Doesn't really look organic to me.

likes are better indicator since almost everyone uses ads

even if lsrfm and ive are doing better than them in domestic and international digitals, they are still one of the top GGs of 4th gen cause they lead sales.

But why no one at least corrects op that they are doing better than all the mentioned in YT first 24 hours? Like OP talked too fast and when MYs mentioned the difference is because of ads views, the response was that “YT doesn’t allow ads in 24 hours”. I don’t think that’s true but it seems some of you only say that when aespa isn’t leading. Now that aespa has the most 24 hour views this year, what do you say?

Spicy : views 34 M, 726k likes = 46.831

Shut down: views 431 M, 10M likes = 43.1

SMF : views 64m , 1.7 likes = 37.64

the difference is not much

not everyone has the same playlisting Spotify & Spotify algorithm

they have the worst sales vs streams ratio, barely over 1m and full of ads in youtube
