You really like to make these questions… Personally I think it’s because Hold On Tight was more of peoples taste, or the general preference when it came to musicality. I preferred Hold On Tight, but Zero was okay. Aespa has had less content and what not, so obviously people will be faster to be excited by the release! And no, just because a ad doesn’t do as well as people expected, does not mean it’s the end for a group. Both groups are amazing, and they both have very creative concepts.

The “Coca Cola” chorus derived from a Korean children song.. I guess they were aiming mostly for Koreans to recognise the ditty

I actually like the "Coca-cola Mashita" part of the song. It's the rest of the singing I think that doesn't match.

Ironically, New Jeans is a group that has been praised for not having a rapper and for not forcing raps in their songs (which I think is actually a good choice that more groups ought to make), but the chorus of this particular song would probably have worked better with a hard hitting rap to match the heavy base of the chorus instead of the soft vocals.

This song could have been a straight banger as a rap song, especially if the rap had a bit of Caribbean flow to it. Something about the "Coca-cola mashita" gives me Island vibes.
