I remember some Dives complaining about Starshit's supposedly mediocre, "lazy" promotions for this latest comeback, complaining about photos, outfits, and whatnot.
But judging from this graphic i found on TW, the reason why Starshit might not have the same flashy expensive promotions as other labels is because your faves are taking a HUGE chunk of their profits.
So before everyone runs to scapegoat the labels for every little thing they find subpar, from bad promotions to cheap sets to not having legal staff to go after hate posts on social media, maybe we should all be grateful to some of them that actually give their idols a pretty good deal as far as record contracts go. There are horror stories of Kpop labels and local labels exploiting the eff out of their acts, trapping them in cycles of debt to the point where they dont even see any earnings from their activities.
If the above graphic is true, Starshit is actually doing pretty amazing by their idols. And they're doing it on a shoestring budget.
