Basically I agree with these two users a lot. Trauma dumping on random people is not okay. Idols are not your therapists. People feel like they know them because of the parasocial relationship they have with them, but idols are just doing their jobs as performers. Imagine how many things like this they end up hearing.
A simple, "You guys helped me through some really dark times," would have been enough.
