Sorry I've been crazy busy so I haven't been able to keep up with Kpop as much lately. Anyways, this is one of my favorite boy group songs of all time. I love the vocals and this song is just super cool. I've been meaning to put it on the series, but I keep on forgetting.
Phantom remained active until 2015. After about 3 years together they disbanded, however all three members have been pursuing solo careers. Han Hae and Sanchez have both released new music this year.

Rescene are kinda rising stars in the industry right now. They're kinda slowly building up their momentum since debut which is really refreshing to see. This song has nice vibes and has a lot of the aesthetics that are popular among the fifth gen.
Rescene made their official comeback soon after this pre-release. They just released a comeback at the end of August prior to this release, so they have been very busy lately. I hope the hard work pays off in the end!
I know that you know I'm a huge fan of Youha so It's no surprise that I like this song. I actually didn't know that she wrote songs for other artists/groups. This is one of the catchiest songs I've heard in a while.
The video is really pretty, especially the Alice in Wonderland looking parts. Pop is a good song but I prefer this one.

Sorry it's been awhile, a long week and not my best day, so I wanted to post a mellow song today. I liked this girl band is this was my favorite song by them. The original video is gone and this was all I could find on the internet.
Sweet Revenge actually lasted about 7 years together which is pretty good for a no name group. Their last comeback was in 2016 and they officially split up in 2017. Soyoung has a soundcloud. Not too much to update. Hopefilly they're all living fulfilling lifestyles.
Mirror is one of the best Kpop songs ever. This should have made them famous but sadly the general public sleeps on quality and 2016/2017 were kinda the farewell years for the sexy concept

This song is kinda popular among the Purple Kiss fandom, but not among the general public. This song should have been the title track instead of MemeM. It seems like a good follow up to Zombie and would have established Purple Kiss as the dark yet upbeat poppy Kpop girl group. I can also envision a music video where they're in a haunted house and each member has their own room. It could have been so much fun, but they had to promote MemeM which is still their worst comeback imo at a pivotal moment in their career.
Purple Kiss actually did take my advice and made a comeback that sounded like this and even filmed it in a haunted house. But it was too little too late and nobody cared. Purple Kiss unfortunately has been on a downward trajectory like most middle tier girl groups that have strong starts but never quite make it. They lost Jieun and have been promoting as 6 members. They actually recently made a comeback this month. Yuki was on Queendom Puzzle and made the final lineup of EL7Z UP, who just disappeared after their debut.

This group had SO much potential and were backed by a pretty successful songwriter and had pretty decent budgets. We were so hopeful. This is also a song written by Youha, who is one of my favorite songwriters in the industry right now. Just tons of fun and what Kpop should be.
bugAboo made one comeback and then that was it. They announced their disbandment shortly afterwards which just seems wrong, I wanted to see this group gradually get more famous. At least they weren't stuck in the dungeon and free to go. Rainie re-debuted in the new lineup of Primrose and they recently made their comeback. Cyan made her solo debut a few months ago and changed her stagename to her birthname: Lee Chaeun. Hopefully more members will re-debut.

This is a song that showed up on K-Ville Entertainment's charts. I thought it had a cool sound and is perfect for the Halloween season. Bands in Korea are super cool and I like how each of them has their own sound. This is more epic than most bands and kinda hardcore.
Sadly this was the only song they released before disbanding. They were on a band survival show and got 3rd place. Their contracts with JTBC ended soon afterwards and they decided not to renew. The singer and guitarist is still doing solo activities. He released something at the end of August. Everyone seems to still be doing music, just not together.

Leader's were basically the original TripleS. At one point the group actually had 24 members but they never released music with all 24 members in fact. This sub-unit is one of the only songs Leader's released. I like the idea of doing the choreography with broomsticks. I wish we got to see it more.
Leader's officially disbanded in 2015 after many lineup changes. There have been said to be over 50 members through the group's history and some of the members have not been identified to this day. I know one of the girls re-debuted in Baba but that's about it for updates I can get. They have a little cult following on twitter because on Twitter user constants posts about the group and tries to uncover all their lost media.

So this trio is kinda intersting. They were under LG's (like the phone/TV company) Korean entertainment label. You can tell they wanted the dance to go viral. Although it's kinda strange when you're debuting a group trying to have it go viral, and instead of having the members dance, you borrow the members from Tahiti to do the choreo instead. The plot of the video is that the members don't know how to dance, so they call Tahiti to help them. But the members can dance and even put tutorials out to learn the choreo. Sadly 11 years later (today actually) those tutorials have less than 1,000 views so it didn't take off. The song is actually really catchy and you can tell the main vocal has an amazing powerful voice. She sings the pre-chorus and the chorus. Also this song samples a popular Korean children's song. And the verses are super autotuned which can be a turnoff, but it's a guilty pleasure for me. There's kinda a lot going on with this debut, but I really like it. It's stayed on my Playlist for weeks.
This was the only song T.A.P released and I imagine they disbanded soon afterwards. They did not promote on music shows, just a couple busking events. And with LG backing you up, there's no excuse because they have plenty of money. Just very lazy promotions. I have no idea what any of the members are up to nowadays, it's kinda hard to find any information on them.
You're right, I did fall in love with it after one listen! I like how it has a trot sound but feels like it's mixed with something else as well. Like a poppy trot.
I don't think I've seen anyone look more cheerful in a video than they do on this one. I'm not sure if their dancing is technically sound but who cares because it's so fun to watch. They give off so much energy and genuinely look like they're having a lot of fun. The song is super catchy too.
Hopkinz I just realized you put the wrong video here Apparently I've been reacting to Damdadi but that's ok because I really like it. Sugar is really good too. I like both songs equally.

Lucky PangPang are a project duo consisting of two notable contestants on the show Korea vs Japan Trot. Their debut was very trot oriented, but this song is like something Gfriend, Gugudan, cute concept 3rd gen girl groups would release. You fall in love with it after one listen. Great singing skills and just so uplifting!
Well this song only came out a couple weeks ago, so this comeback is the update on the group. Who knows what else they will do or if they will do another project.
