I am waiting for comeback announcement, too.

Queendom needs an older (2nd gen) group. Weki Meki isn't big enough. Dreamcatcher would be good, but their popularity is borderline. I don't know about having both Loona and Dreamcatcher. There should only be one dark horse group.
StayC (or Ive or Kep1er) for the younger group
Loona (or Dreamcatcher) for the dark horse group
Itzy for the huge group
Apink (or Brave Girls) for the older group
WJSN for the big but not huge group
IOI for the unexpected buzz makers (Momoland would be OK, but nowhere near as ratings-friendly as IOI)
IOI is very unlikely. I don't think Somi or Blacklabel would agree for her to join another Mnet show.
StayC cannot be on MNET channels because High UP Entertainment and CJ E&M have ongoing beef.
StayC are owned by 1thek/ Kakao M. They "stole" aka acquired StayC/High Up artists/ High Up entertainment and took away the partnership with CJ E&M away when StayC become popular.
StayC will never be on Mnet channels unless Kakao M gives StayC/High Up artists/High Up entertainment back to CJ E&M.
So forgot the idea of ever seen StayC on KCON, Studio Choom, MAMA, Queendom, TMI show, Mcountdown any shows owned by CJ E&M.
"High Up Entertainment (하이업엔터테인먼트), also simply known as High Up, is a South Korean entertainment agency founded by producer duo Black Eyed Pilseung, in partnership with CJ E&M, in 2017.[1]
On June 10, 2021, it was announced that Kakao Entertainment had acquired High Up Entertainment after becoming their largest shareholder, and therefore would become a Kakao Entertainment subsidiary.[2]"

As i said in the other thread, i hope the lineup isnt 100 percent accurate.
I think this is the best balance of domestic and international popularity, performance skills, and underdog status.
Oh this lineup looks so good and that would be my ideal lineup as well. I just would replace Weki Meki with WSJN.

True. They would bring a lot of viewers in Korea and worldwide and shine the light to other groups. That's why I wanted Dreamcatcher to be on there.
Yay, I like your prediction about LOONA. they deserve a lot of recognition for how great of performers and singers they are.
Momoland is in Mexico on March 30, so I think they won't join on Queendom.

Viviz basically confirmed they were in it too

When did StayC company High Up resolved their issues with Mnet?

This twitter user said that all groups have an unspecified schedules on Feb 15th.
I am an Orbit and I can confirm that Loona has been in the practice room a lot. They also danced to multiple girl groups songs such ITZY... and so on. This could be true for them. I am not sure about the unspecified schedules date.
But where is dreamcatcher. I wanted them to be in the lineup as well.
Did this person really join all these fancafes from 23 girl groups? Can someone confirm that's true for these groups.

I am!!!...it feels like a new Kpop era to me and it feels great.
Kpop fans (me inclusive) should get ready to hear their favs announcing their marriage (at least those 7+ years in the game)
It all started with Chen and now almost everyone in love is openly announcing marriage plans.
I'm so happy for them all and I wish them all the best.
So, who do you think will get married first in your fav group or among your fav idols.
For Exo, Chen is busy making his own Exo junior squad. I mean, he got in the game long before we expected it and that's great.
Something tells me that Suho/DO/Lay will be next.
Among my girlies Snsd, I'm thinking Seohyun/Sooyoung/Yoona. They strike me as those who won't miss an opportunity once it comes up.
What do you think?
I am sure most idols are dating but only the 2nd or 3rd gen idols will announce marriages and engagement at this time. I feel like we will hear more engagement news and idols having babies news more frequently now.
Exo Chen helped pave the way for idols to be more open with their dating life same as Hyuna and Edawn. I think we will hear marriage news from groups like Kara, SNSD, EXO, 2pm, 2am, Big Bang, Rainbow, Red Velvet and so on..
If I had put a guess maybe IU, Yoona, Sooyoung, Suho, Lay, Wooyoung, Junho, Yunho, Taecyeon..
I would be happy if my faves would announce marriage or dating. I don't care who they are dating or not. I only care about listening to good music.

Congrats to both ITZY and Stray Kids. This also means there is a path for NMIXX or NIZIU to get signed in the future.

SM directly asked to delete the post about Aespa NingNing on the community
A post after being published on Instiz received a request to stop posting from Dear You, an app owned by SM
1. That’s why I don’t even look at groups with Chinese members
2. The reason I hate SM is because SM likes China and there are a lot of Chinese idols in SM
3. Well, as expected, SM takes good care of Aespa
4. SM is disgusting
5. Seriously, don’t let Chinese idols debut in Korea
6. NingNing is Chinese.. I like Aespa, but I won’t buy their albums or merchandise from now on
7. I’m a fan of Aespa, but now even if they release a new song, I think I won’t watch their MV or listen to their song
8. SM isn’t doing well in Japan, they weren’t popular in North America and Europe in the first place.. The only way for them to make money is to target the Chinese market
9. But I’m really curious, why can’t they lose China even if they are criticized like that?
10. Anyway, Aespa will sell the album so well in Korea
11. Because China is SM’s last hope
You all missing the points. There is a huge cultural issue with China and Korea. Koreans are very sensitive when it comes to anything related to China including movies, dramas and so on. SM should have apologized or not respond.
Knetz also need to leave NingNing alone. She can support her country all she wants.

People need to stop caring about other people's live and looks . He really endured all these bullying for some many years. Rest in Peace

Glad to see this ended on a good note.
SafariDebut If you're rather new to AKP, please understand that users are on edge because that username and no avatar combo is commonly associated with malicious trolls. Additionally, being so charts-minded and awards-minded as someone outside of the fandom will surely get members of said fandom to question your intentions. Just keep that in mind.
Please feel at home here, get some user aesthetics pertaining to your favorites, post some appreciation threads, and enjoy.
Okay, thanks. I am still trying to figure out how to buy badges and add avatar to my profile.

As a MIDZY, I would love to see ITZY on Queendom. I don't care about the numbers, or the popularity they will or won't get, or anything like that. Here's the reasons I want them there:
1. I get to see epic performances by ITZY
2. I get to see ITZY interpret other group's songs
3. I get to see other groups interpret ITZY songs
4. I get to see collabs between ITZY and other group members
5. I get to see interactions between ITZY and other group members
ITZY are performance queens, so I would love to see them there, even if they didn't get a single new fan out of it.
I agree 100%
. We all know their performances or collabs with other girl groups would be legendary. I would be so excited to see that happen them collab with other girl groups such as Loona / WSJN and Dreamcatcher. These performance queens would slay the Queendom stages.

I'm sorry your question was met with so much hostility. It seemed like a genuine question to me, not fake concern like I saw some people saying. I don't stan ITZY either yet and I had no idea any of them had been in any survival shows before I clicked on this thread. It's okay to not know everything about a group when you stan them and even more so when you don't. To be fair, I'm far more familiar with the latest Kingdom season for obvious reasons (I mean, one look at my profile picture should give it all away). If anything, Queendom confuses me. At first I thought it was a show (because Kingdom was one and the name checked out), then I think I'm wrong and it's a Red Velvet comeback, only to be wrong yet again and it's both and now it has a new season?
I think why people reacted so hostilely is because of how you phrased this part: "Apologize to Midzies but have you looked at ITZY's performance in sales and Korean charts last year. How many awards show did ITZY go empty headed last year?! SMA, GDA, MMA, MAMA, AAA, Gaon Charts. You want ITZY to have a strong Korean fanbase but that's what Queendom is for." Due to the phrasing, it sounds as if you are implying that they don't have a strong Korean fanbase. I am not a Midzy, so I have no idea if this statement is true or false, but either way, such an implication can be hurtful. Many people want their faves to be doing well and they want to hear that they are, while you told them the opposite. In the future, in order to avoid such vicious and undeserved attacks, one way to phrase the same point in a far less hurtful way is to highlight that they are doing well in a lot of the world, and while they are doing good in Korea, could be doing better. See how that sounds less hostile in comparison? Try that phrasing in the future and see if it helps your posts be received better. Also, just to clarify, I am in no way trying to tell you what to do or not to do, merely trying to give friendly advice to help you. Have a great day/night!
Got it. Thanks. I didn't mean to harm anyone. Sorry if it come across this way. I was genuinely curious curious on why they didn't want ITZY on Queendom from Midzys standpoints.

I was asking about her 2021 releases only, but yes Gashina is an iconic song. I'd consider picking it if it was an option.
Okay got it. Tail's choreo and sound appealed to me the most of all her 2021 releases.

Go or Stop? might not count since it wasn't really promoted, but fuck it adds variety to the poll so why not? lol
Anyways pick one pls thx

Okay you failed to to convince me to become midzys. Good to know which fandom I need to stay away from here.
-
their fans dont want queendom
so just deal, okay?
but I would like to know why they don't want them to join? ITZY is losing footing in a market where they are tons of new groups debuting every year.
If they continue to be stagnant and not evolving with their music and unable to gain more casual Korean listeners, then in the long run it would be difficult for them to rise back the top.
