Well you can't really control what people say. I've made threads with the intention of discussion but then it goes down the drain.

I don't know the band too well, but it always seemed to me that BG still had a loyal fanbase and fandom culture was more prominent among BG fans. At least they switch from unit not to another group, they don't leave the group.

Didn’t Korean nctzens refuse to support superhuman comeback
-
To be really honest, I think most if not all of 4th gen ggs (including big ones), have a fandom were they are not the top priority of the bigger part of the fandom.
This happens because they are usually stanned by people who already have a bg as their ult or gg stans who already have their ult as another gg and then stan many others. So It's like: GG 1 has someone who ults them and many other gg stans who stan, but dont ult because they ult gg 2, 3 or 4. Then GG 2 has someone who ults them + the person who ults gg 1, 3 or 4 etc.
I dont know if it was easy to understand.

There are some nctzens (not on the forum) who show a great amount of favouritism toward one unit even though they say they support every unit. WayV in my opinion makes some of the best music within NCT and their MV's are viewed way less than other units. Not that I care about fame but I'm making a point for how some nctzens show favourtism.

It was for me
how would you explain then that the fans have some difficult to give the same love & involvement to several groups?

Thank you for the details, I don't know the band at all, it's very unclear for me
-
Is that a bad thing?
I guess I'm not a fan of the kpop fandom's tendency to support songs they think are garbage.

You're welcome! If you ever wanted to try and stan then I can help you.

Blinks are definitely really loyal not a single girl group would’ve survived with these hiatus.
An once literally filmed twice’s rehearsals in helicopter I don’t know more devoted It’s just sometimes is focused on the wrong things.
I would go with Mamamoo fandom, idk why but apparently they boycotted Mmm because they aren’t happy with how the company manage them and now their sales dropped. Also the difference in sales between each member.

Maybe SM finally achieved what they've been trying to create for a while: a group that's relatively immune to the specific member composition.
-
on the other hand, bg stans fighting each other left and right for the "boys honour"
including me

I didn't mean it in either a positive or negative way, more so a neutral one, as I feel like such a trait can be used for bad or for good. My apologies if I made it seem like I was in any way taking a stance on that issue.

That's what I'm thinking too. Was wondering what would happen when Taeyong and other popular NCT members started to enlist but judging by the response to Lucas it might not effect them much. SM must be so proud lol

I think It's just human nature. It's very hard to love everything you like equally. It doesn't mean you can't be loyal and supportive, just because you love something else a bit more. I took you title more as "least loyal" (in comparison to others) than "not loyal at all".
Speaking for myself, I stan 5 groups and I buy albums, follow updates daily, stream the discography and I'd go to the concert of all of them
even though I only did it to one of my groups bc they were the only ones who remembered of my country. And I still have ults. -

Agree with this they've so many solo stans, but always loyal.
They did not boycott the drop in sales is due to problems with Chinese fans.
I'm agree to say Moomoos fandom is not loyal at all for International fans, but in the korean fanbase is loyal.

That's why I only focused my comments on 4th gen ggs, BLACKPINK, TWICE and SNSD's fandoms exist and I think they are bg level of loyalty, fr lol

most 4th gen ggs
aespa and post produce grps seem to have a strong fandom
itzy nmixx have decent fandoms
maybe loona, dreamcatcher
not sure about gidle
that's it
rest all are existing on casual interest i believe
Not agree for Aespa, ITZY & (G)I-DLE.
GI-DLE we had a very good example of this last year the group was not very active a lot of self called stans never spoke once about the group.
ITZY not really, there is a very big difference between their music content and the rest of their activity which has much lower figures, we can also see it on the forum a lot of self called Midzy are mostly JYP stans and their real group is Twice or another BG group or another GG group. I think that among the GG fanbase on akpop ITZY and RV have the smallest fanbase and many are mostly passing fans who are primarily fans of other groups. It can be seen on the threads that ask to tag people from the fanbases people can't name the midzys or the revluvs.
Aespa is hard to say since they are a popular group at the moment, but will the fanbase stay loyal if the group becomes less popular? I think if they maintain their success the fanbase will become more loyal.

Bought something doesn't make you a stan. A stan is an obsessive fans, it's someone that creates activity about the group or the artist in any circumstance. I think the perfect example is ARMY on twitter with their different hashtag to trend things related to BTS. This makes it possible to create an advertisement for the group and the artist, that's the real work of the stans. Another example today I saw the hashtag bang chan trending it let me know that he had done a live, and yet I'm not a stay. So the stans of SKZ have therefore contributed to giving exposure to their group by creating this activity.
If you buy albums, follow updates daily, stream the discography and I'd go to the concert you're a fan but not necessarily a stan.

I think we just have different definitions of stanning then and that's fine. I wouldnt say someone is not a stan or not loyal, because they don't have social media to engage in creating active for a group (I don't, for example, just an acc allkpop lol). As long as they love their music/performances and support them somehow (monetarily or not), It's fine.

I disagree with the note that NCTzens are the least loyal. For NCT 127, they have been considered "flops" for many years and people continue to disparage their music but fans have still cheered and supported them. For WayV, there have been so many delays, not to mention the years they were the redheaded stepchild, but WayZeNnis remained passionate supporters. Dreamzens have always been passionate about Dream.
I do though agree with the statement that many people who say they are OT23 seem to not really support all the units. The sub-unit wars are pretty rough and petty and some are still not really supporting WayV.
Maybe SM finally achieved what they've been trying to create for a while: a group that's relatively immune to the specific member composition.
This is a topic that is currently tearing the WayZeNni base apart between those who are OT6 and OT7. Czennies do care, very much. There are people who want him back and people who don't, dependent on their perspective on him and the situation, and whatever the company decides will impact the group and its following. It's talked about just about every day in Weishen twt, although it cools down and flames up dependent on what news (most recently YangYang referencing 7). Within the larger NCTzen fanbase, they are not focused on it since there's no news, but every time there is, it flares up (like when he posted IG for the first time in a long time.) NCTzens care very much on each side of the issue.
I also disagree that the group is immune to the specific member composition. Despite the premise of the group being "interchangeable", it is a shitshow when they move members around (Winwin out of 127 to WayV, Mark graduating out of Dream) or when there's even a hint of moving members around (Dream being "rotational"). Maybe it seems that way from the sidelines, but the fanbase is actually quite resistant to the change everyone thinks happens in the group. (Hell, people even get up in arms about who is in the NCT U rotational groups, which are specific members chosen to suit the song..)
-
I would say Loona fan base
They are loud as fuck on social media
Insert them in dump dramas that are not related to them at all
Randomly use them to get into fight with bg stans
Then they all disappear when it comes to support and listening to their music.
They spend 10 times more energy on social media drama than they do on supporting their musical careers.
That's a bad fandom imo
