Having different directors isn't an issue though. The MVs are planned by SM and because of that there are definitely similar themes in several videos from their artists and even shared imagery between artists.

the director of the MV is just here to make this imagination become real
for example having different director film the same mv would just impact the angle they choose to film something, or the different direction they can give to the girl about where they should look, or how they should move
but it'll never impact the meaning or the artistic direction of the MV
