But it’s only the 2nd day we can’t judge overall sales with only 2 day of tracking I’m sure sales will increase on Friday.

she hasn't been in the industry 20 years yet snsd debuted in 2007

You can't compare with new gen idols and you can't compare with IU either who does hallyu dramas and collabs with all the big boygroups. She's doing extremely well. First hit January 2008, latest hit February 2022. Nobody else has that kind of longevity. She is a legend, appreciate that or go token stan someone else.

After hotel del luna, IU fanbase grew tremendously all over in asia especially China and i don't think taeyeon ever sold over 300k so i don't know what u r expecting.

Those sales seem fine to me. You don't get extra hundred of thousand sales just for appearing on tv , IU is a different case because she's also very big in china, she's at her peak

This is kinda weird, you should be happy she's selling that much and she keeps doing well, or are you a sales stan?. Just two days passed, no way we can predict the final numbers especially when one version is out of stock

Her highest-selling album is her 1st studio album which only recorded around 240K. Even if she promotes it or she always appears on TV, it only improved her song through digital not physical because the public will not willing to buy the album. Only the fandom is willing to bulk-buy even without promotion. If it's low then I guess her fandom didn't buy it. Unless SONES do any project like new gen fandom then it will definitely increase the sales.

There is no need to compare her with IU, because her success in drama makes many people join her fandom. It maybe surpassing Tae's

Over half of IU's physical sales came from China, which started growing in 2016 after Scarlet Heart Ryeo and then continued after My Mister and Hotel del Luna. for reference Hotel del Luna was summer 2019, and IU's physical sales started exploding with Love Poem in nov 2019. tbh I could even see IU having a bigger fandom in Asia since her tours have been bigger lately too.

all of taeyeon's tv/radio promotions will help her digital sales, which seem like they're doing great for this comeback. only core fanbases buy albums. I thought ty had a large china fanbase before also though, what is usually the country distribution of her previous sales?
