I'll ignore a lot of the frankly dumb content in this post to agree with the general point:

There's a massive flurry of activity all at once and it does look like JYPE trying to milk the last drop.

What give me pause is The Feels. Why release an English song and start an honest-to-god western push if you know Twice are donezo?

There is a possibility that The Feels was a contractual obligation to Republic that they had to get out before disbandment. The way JYPE left that song to die in Korea is weird as hell. Don't "English song" me either. It's not even just BTS that find success with those. Rose did really well.

I thought they made a lot of comebacks because of the lack of touring. Plus they're going on tour beginning of next year. I think it isn't worth it to speculate if Twice is going to disband or lose members next year.

But those are all reasons for JYPE to want them the renew, not really reason for Twice themselves to want to renew sadly. They are a 6+ year old group still essentially having the work load of nugu rookies. They recieve almost 0 individual promotions and 2 members have already mentioned in passing JYPE has shut down some opportunities for them.

Even now when people are resting and taking it easy during the holidays Twice are being worked hard for a 3 day concert(even one on xmas fucking day) during the absolute worst conditions the pandemic has had in Korea...it really doesn't feel like JYPE appreciate or respect Twice at all...just the boat load of cash they rake in...if I was in that position I would be thinking hard about re-signing too.

I really hope if they were to renew, it would give them and obviously the staffs working behind the scene better splits for their hardwork.
